first week already did not work well, volume lower to less than half of the potency!

Incredibly loud.
This thing really Carrie's your voice. The siren can be a bit ear piercing so proceed with caution. Once the batteries are in, it can a bit heavy, but the carrying strap makes it a lot easy to carry for longer times.
