Rice mold works well, cutter is very hard to use
Great rice mold! Got these to make bento meals for my wife and kids. Needless to say, itās a new found obsession for all of us. Now I need to find storage for all of the tools Iām about to buy. Itās a great addition to my character bento collections!! My only comment is that the metal cutter is flawed. Both items came with a cutter that will never cut the mouth piece correctly. The details are too intricate to cut out correctly. Mouths are always broken⦠if Iām lucky 1 out of 5 will cut correctly.

Cute but the cutter doesnt work
I bought this bc is the cutest thing ever. However I was not able to do the pan cut outs from any of the seaweed. We bought sushi style and nothing, try from those that comes as snacks and nothing. We were not able to get the cuts to work and put the cute panda together. That is disappointing.

Impossible to use as seen on package.
The cutter for the panda face falls apart. Too tiny a sliver of space to insert anything for cutter. Do not recommend.

Works, with an important caveat!
I read the reviews saying that the molds don't hold together, so I did a little research. I didn't have any trouble with the mold itself, and I used sushi rice, as apparently it's stickier than jasmine, basmati, or other white rice found in stores. Just to be safe, I also used a tiny bit of vegetable oil inside the mold, and they came out great! I have to agree that the punch isn't the easiest to use, but it works for now! Overall, very pleased with the set so far.

Rice gets stuck inside
My sister got this for my kids and the idea behind it is great. The problem is that the rice is difficult to remove once pressed and often the ears get stuck and rip off. Other rice moulds are textured to stop this from happening but this one requires a spritz of oil before use in order to prevent sticking.
