A must have for any adventurer!!
Such an awesome product. Compact and easy to install. You do need some type of bracket(s) that is not included. I went with the Gobi Brackets, as I have a Gobi Rack. I get compliments all the time on how nice my 4Runner looks with the awning attached and the practicality and ease of use it next to none. I can set this up by myself in about 3 or 4 minutes, then get the ties downs staked in about another 5. One great thing I love about this is that you have a built in wall already on your awning, YOUR VEHICLE!I am not sure if the MFG recommends it, but I even take mine through the car wash and it handles it fine. This is an extension of your vehicle, like a side view mirror.A must have for any adventurer.

Good strong product, crappy shipping
Ok, purchased this ARB 2500 x 2000 awning to put on my T@G Max XL teardrop camper that has a Yakima rack with 1 inch round cross bars. I also ordered the "L" brackets listed as "also purchased". The awning came shipped in a tube container that had been taped up at the ends with clear packing tape. You guessed it, the contents broke through the end hence some very minor damage and no hardware (bolts, nuts, pegs, guide lines).Contacted seller and they responded quickly and I asked for picture to make a claim. We'll see !ON TO THE PRODUCT.Using also purchased brackets and a trip to Lowes for some hardware I had it mounted in under an hour. Easy stuff.Unzipped, swung out rafter beams, rolled out awning and drop poles down. It got a little hairy from there but had it up and secure in 5minutes (less guide lens and pegs).Put away in reverse order.Seems to be well built. Heavy duty canvas.I will use and may readjust my review later.Ok, Amendment; Used the awning this weekend, without guide ropes and stakes with moderate winds. Excellent!!Now as for shipping and seller ( reason I have no guide lines or stake) Seller blamed shipping company saying they knocked end caps off. Wrong answer, there were no end caps only tape. Oh well. Gave me 25 dollar credit and had ARB send hardware which came the day after my trip.Moral of the story; Buy this product just watch your seller!

Sturdy Awning, Easy to Set Up
Love this awning for areas with very intense sun, or in the rain. It provides great shade in intense sun, creating a cooler environment than other shade structures that I've used. It sheds rain very well, and the poles adjust to help direct runoff where you want it to go. The set up is easy after you learn the ropes. The construction is very substantial. We were in Mexico and managed to snag a sagging power line. The cover got scuffed up a bit, but no tears. Anything less substantial probably would have been ripped up pretty bad.

Not Meant For Rain
I had one leg about 1 foot shorter than the other in order for rain to drain off easily. I figured this would be useful to have out if it rains overnight or while I'm cooking. The rain pooled on the shorter side instead of draining off. There is not a good gutter system/design on this product at all. The cheap thin aluminum arm bent ever so slightly which was just enough for it to not slide into the storage. This was after I babysat it at 3am lifting the middle to get the water off so it doesn't pool. Not heavy duty at all. The replacement arm is about $20, but this product is not what I had hoped it would be. I can't use it for what I initially thought I could. Maybe it's my fault for not doing enough research. Maybe its known not to use this for rain cover. Either way, it works well for shade as long as the sun in the right direction. that's about it.

ARB makes a great product.
this is a well made and easy to use awning for you vehicle. easy to install and easy for one person to put up. combined with the the deluxe enclosed room makes for a great camping solution to a tent or the cost of a Roof Top Tent.

Too expensive and you'll need to buy another $40 in brackets.
For a $320 awning this thing should be bulletproof, easy to install and fairly lightweight. It's none of that. The shipping tube was stood up on end where the awning slid in the tube and must have hit the concrete because it cut a hole in the cover and was scuffed. Unless you're mounting this thing to a flat surface you'll need more hardware and again at this pricing a couple brackets wouldn't be too much to ask.

ARB is a well known brand, and this awning reflects that level of trust.
I bought this on Amazon for my small teardrop caravan. Installation was very simple and setup was just as easy. The materials seem very sturdy while they're very lightweight. The canopy is sturdy and protects well from rain and sun and has the typical "rip-stop" fabric which makes it very durable. Using the guy lines it stays very sturdy in even the strongest winds and I've even used the side support bars to dry clothes upon. The zipper and canvas that houses the entire canopy appears to be waterproof and just as sturdy as the rest of the canopy. If I had to complain about something it would be the image that shows this canopy with the vertical wind protector in the image which I thought was included in the package. It was note included, but for the price, this can't be beat!9/10: would buy again.

Easy Peasy..
Love it. Thought it was gonna be big n' bulky on the side of my rack, but it ain't. I bought the awning brackets (little pricey) and works just fine. Bolted the brackets to my Thule square tubes. Just moved my rack on top over a bit to accommodate the awning.Easy peasy to deploy and put away. Glad I spent a little extra for a great awning.
