Terrific coconut oil, and packaged in Glass!!! Plastics leech toxins into the oil, and plastic toxins are known hormone disruptors that wreak havoc on the bodies of our growing kids. Ingested plastics get stored throughout the body, including organs and the brain. Avoiding plastic is VERY important! (optimally organic red pine needle oil removes plastics from the body, but why not avoid it altogether???). Excellent product, thoughtfully packaged, highly recommend it!!!!

Smooth and pure tasting. I’ve tried a lot of coconut oils and this one seems to hold up best. It seems to stay fresh in the jar longer than some others.

Love love love this coconut oil. I love the size jar, too. It is the perfect size for my kitchen cupboards. It is not too large or heavy and can be grabbed easily from the cupboard. I have had larger size jars and they are cumbersome and awkward.As far as the flavor and texture, this coconut oil is great. It has a mild coconut flavor which you will taste in mild foods, but is easily overwhelmed by spicy foods. I will say, it is NOT covered up by cocoa or cacao flavor, though. I find that if I use it for making a chocolate cake or brownies, you still taste the coconut, although this is not a bad thing. But if you are looking for one without flavor, choose a different one.We have even used this for making some homemade skin treatments as well. It works great mixed with other oils for moisturizers and for lip balm. I love it as a general all around coconut oil. My skin loves it too!Sometimes I apply it straight to my lips if I am working in the kitchen and don't want to go looking for my lip balm!

Good quality coconut oil in glass and not plastic. It’s a large enough jar and great value for the price. I have this on subscription

There are a lot of nice quality coconut oils out there but this is the best. It smells and tastes wonderful. And finally, a glass jar. Only the 14 ounce and 23 ounce are in glass jars. The plastic jar was always a drawback in product quality for me even if the oil was great. I just want glass and now I got it.I use it on potatoes, for cooking eggs, putting on popcorn, and eating right from the spoon. Coconut oil is the healthiest oil there is and I love this brand and also their other products. Organic, vegan, raw, just what you want.Wow, the price went up since I bought it but as of this review, it's still a great price.

This coconut oil is huge. Great value for the money! I use it everyday I rinse and swish my mouth with it for 5- 10 minutes before using a light fluoride free toothpaste, y teeth have literally gotten so white they low. I don’t know how I went so many years without using this stuff. I’ve had a crack in my lips and when I swish with this it’s been helping with that as well. Smells like coconut oil. I run it under my sink water until the viscosity is clear and then swish with it. It’s great on skin too. Keeps in moisture on skin after shower. I use this for everything but cooking basically. But mostly in my mouth and it is a life changer.

Glad it is in stock. Hard to find on other sites. Love it. Great alternative instead of using butter when cooking. It is healthy for you as well.

I LOVE this brand of coconut oil!! My most favorite high quality go-to for baking, skin care, & for the hair. HOWEVER… whoever packed this shipment should be fired!! In a box far too big for the product… the jar was not wrapped at all with any kind of bubble wrap nor secured in any kind of way. The jar rolled around in the box, leaking a quarter of the contents. I could tell that the item had not been well packaged by the oil stain that was forming on the outside the box when I picked it up & heard the rolling around of the jar. Sure enough, the jar was not wrapped in any way with anything. Just pitched into the box with a useless strip of brown parcel paper thrown in with it. It’s sickening to spend money on such a great product just to have it so carelessly packed & shipped in such a way. Not to mention the damage that could be done to any other items that might be shipped with it.10 STARS for Nutivia & their excellent coconut oil. ZERO STARS & a Fail Minus for care in shipping procedures. Whoever is the management over packing & shipping, Please… vet your employees! I worked in shipping for an environmental lab & I know how glass jars are to be packed for shipment. And this was so totally, absolutely NOT the way!! Very disappointed!!
