Way nicer than I expected
For $19 I was surprised by how deeply polished and heavy duty this fairlead is. All the edges are softened nicely with no snags or sharp edges to wear on your rope. The supplied bolts are stainless. It's actually so nice looking that it made the rest of the winch look crappy. I had to dismount the winch and give it a glossy rattle can finish just so it would look at least somewhat decent attached to this baby.

GOOD ONE!
Looks great. Works great. Fit on my Yamaha with no problems and going to AmSteel winch cable (rope) sure made my life better by not getting those metal slivers in my fingers anymore! This hawse fairlead is as smooth as a babies bottom, so that rope slides through it with no problem. Happy, Happy, Happy!!

It is a nice aluminum piece though
Only complaint is that the bolts that came with it won't work on my Polaris factory winch. The factory bolts are too big, so I drilled out the holes slightly. Now the bolts fit, but the nuts are too tight to fit in the holes. Nothing a little machining can't fix, but more work than I wanted. It is a nice aluminum piece though.

Well made, smooth edges, inexpensive
I use a synthetic rope on my winch and so far, so good. It took the place of the rollers on the front of my wheeler.

Looks well made and I did like the stainless hardware but the bolts were half an inch short which I was not happy about since I had to buy longer ones in the morning. I believe I bought M8 35mm bolts that were long enough. I don't know if me having a plow mount on my RZR caused the need for longer bolts but there is plenty of room on the back side for longer bolts.

Leaves a gap in stock fairlead hole
It installed perfectly on my can an outlander, but it is quite a bit smaller than the original roller fairlead so it left a gap all around it which really bugs me, but I’m a little picky. Other than that it seems like a nicely machined part
