Nishiki Premium Sushi Rice (15#)

Good news and bad news: In Japan I think this would be considered a good/run of the mill rice that you'd have in the rice machine and serve to the family. There is only one other brand of "Japanese" rice available in the US, and I'd rank it below this. The catch: Compared to what else is available, this rice is not only good, it is used at some of the top Japanese restaurants in the US. Unless your plan is to pay DEARLY, basically, this is the choice, and the good news is: it is great! If I had it in Japan, I don't think I'd be amazed, but I wouldn't be disappointed either. So, to sum things up: great rice, but wish the option of BETTER rice were available, unfortunately, this is not a country where every neighborhood is expected to have a rice shop with a wide variety of brands ranging from cheap to super-high end. Meets the middle fantastically....

Fluffy and flavorful. Just like my favorite Chinese Restaurant

Quality stuff, a well-earned reputation. Sticky as its meant to be, yummy, great for sushi or bibimbap, or eaten over the container, fridge open, with a spoon and dash of premium soy sauce at 1am. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this rice. I made it in my Cukoo rice cooker and kept it warm overnight using the warmer setting. It tasted the same the next day as the day I made it. It cooked up really nice. It was quite sticky but I liked that. It tasted like the rice I get in my favorite Chinese restaurant.I am going to buy this rice again when I finish the 15 pound bag.The only thing was the box it came in was pretty beat up. It looked as if it had been opened and retaped closed. It didn't effect the taste of the rice.

I live this rice Brand its what iake if I'm not to hungry and it fills me up not only that I was expecting it to come when amazon said but I'm glad it came earlier now I can make all my favorite rice dishes
