Great space saver!
This design and quality is one of the best that I have seen so far. The build is really sturdy and easy to assemble. By adding this to my busy work desk the space I get to save is so important to me.Would really recommend this product by Thingi Club. Also, I got an attachment which also allows me to change it to a VESA type monitor if I wish to.

Absolutely love this! Quality, well designed, flexibility... (position, height, table top space)
This laptop stand is wonderful! I'm using it for a DJ setup with a compact 'Lifetime' brand table that does not have enough space on the table top for my laptop once my controller is on the table. This single arm laptop mount solves all the laptop height, mounting, and position issues I was having. First, it allows me to raise my laptop just below my eye level. So no more bending down to see the laptop. My laptop was too low when it was placed on the laptop shelf of my controller travel case. The single arm allows me to position the laptop exactly where I would like it to be both in height and lateral position over the table. I can swing the arm so the laptop is over the center of my controller or over the corner of my controller and anywhere in between. The well designed clamp holds securely when carefully positioned on the thickest part of my plastic Lifetime table top. I was worried there wouldn't be enough flat table top on the bottom of the table top for it to be secure (plus the Lifetime table top has slightly rounded corners). If you are mindful about the position of the clamp on the thickest part of the Lefetime table top, it works. (On a standard 90 degree corner wooden table top it would have even more surface area to grab and could be positioned any where without worry). As I type on the laptop keys, there is a little sway, but much less than I expected. It is remarkably solid. Part of that sway is the type of portable table I'm using. The Single Arm Laptop Mount works great! The laptop clamps that are on the sides of the laptop tray, hold the laptop securely and they don't interfere with any ports on my HP laptop. That could be an issue on other laptops that have side ports in the center of the laptop. I can angle the laptop front to back exactly where I need it. I only have one tiny criticism... the side to side level of the laptop changes slightly depending on how it is positioned relative to the arm. If the laptop is positioned perpendicular to the arm section that holds the tray, the laptop is level. However, as the laptop pivots farther away from perpendicular to the arm it becomes slightly un-level side to side. It is subtle, and many people may not notice. For someone like me, it is a minor annoyance. It does not affect the safety or performance of the rig in any way. Fortunately, the placement of the clamp on the table relative to the position of the laptop over the table have allowed me to position the laptop perpendicular to the arm - so the laptop is level side to side. The only change I could see Thingy Club making would be a side to side leveling adjustment where the tray connects to the arm. It would have to be a slight rotation that is limited to preserve the safety of the laptop tray from tipping one way or the other too much if the leveling future leveling screw comes loose. I'm impressed by the design and quality of this laptop stand rig. Highly Recommended. Thanks so much!

Solid and easy to assemble
Was nearly put off by that other review, it's actually a solid piece. Very sturdy and very easy to assemble. It just clicks together. Used on a very large ASUS G751JY laptop.

Very flexible positioning
Very impressed by the flexibility in positioning my laptop using this mount. Wherever I've needed to position the laptop I seem to be able to do so with this mount.I've tried a range of laptops ranging from 12.5" to 16" and have fitted well. For the most part ports, particular key ones such as charge ports were not obscured, but your mileage may vary here depending on the make and model. The mount handles the weight of a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" with no issues so I'd be confident putting pretty much any laptop on it.From some of the other comments I've seen, if you're looking to use this to mount a laptop and use the onboard keyboard and touchpad it's probably not the one for you. This is much more useful, and likely intended, to use an external mouse and keyboard on the desk and allow you to position the laptop display in a position that is more ergonomic

Difficult to get level
Easy to assemble. Instructions aren't great, but it's simple to put together. The problems: (1) the laptop doesn't sit in the the tray well, (2) the clamp cover ports I need, and (3) it's difficult to get level, I've had to wedge it.I expected superior quality. It should be better for the price paid.

poor design
Purchased to use with a Dell 17" laptop, problems found, if used with the cable at the bottom the working height of the Laptop is far to high for sitting at a desk even at the lowest position, if used with the cable exit at the top the joint at the laptop end requires to be reversed, the tolerance at the joint between the vertical post and the arm is too great and allows a 20mm vertical movement, if used in this upside down manner to achieve a normal working height a 17" laptop meets an obstruction hitting the first section of the arm as the laptop is turned, the laptop also does not sit level when used at right angles to the desk. Side clips for securing the laptop obstruct access to sockets/ports, also if Keyboard is uses at an incline, the weight of screen lifts the keyboard from the bottom stop, as the laptop is not secured in the cradle. I would have returned this crap, if I had not cut the vertical pole to fit under my existing monitors, looks good in the photos, but not fit for purpos

Solid
A very good arm that does what it supposed to, very stable even when fully extended. The angle of the arms is a bit steep so when using to hold a laptop near a monitor setup its a little hard to get position right
