Perfect fit
Works perfectly and fit perfect on my diesel generator.

Alike, but not the same. Hacksaw hack made it fit.
This was not a direct replacement for my filter assembly, but I was able to make it fit with a hacksaw. The casting that the mounting bolt goes through is long and there were no threads to work with. I cut the excess off as much as I could with a hacksaw, and then snapped off the rest. That left me with more than enough thread to attach the assembly in the same place. First photo shows that this filter, second photo shows the original filter, and the last photo shows them side-by-side for comparison.This was a fast and affordable repair for my generator, and only mildly annoying to modify for an OEM fit. This might be exactly the same as what you have, but others might benefit from the pictures.

Just what I needed.
I just needed the filter but the only way to get the filter is with housing which is okay.

Junk!
Poorly made. Found a hole in the casting letting Diesel leak out onto my garage floor 5 minutes after installing it.
