Smells like a subtle coconut oil cream
Don't really understand the point of this "underarm" moisturizer, because this is more of a moisturizer and less of a deodorant. Smells like a subtle coconut oil cream. It's organic, yes, but a very neutral smelling cream.Prevents body odor for atleast 8 hours. No more.Serves the purpose but a bit on the expensive side.

Both Soapwalla and Truly's are the most amazing products on the face of the Earth for heavy-sweating
Wife's review (will be posting this same review for both products. Too lazy to write two):TL;DR: Um, **life changer!**. Both Soapwalla and Truly's are the most amazing products on the face of the Earth for heavy-sweating, often-stinky and/or sensitive-skined folk.I can't tell you how pleased I am with this product!!! I have pretty nasty social anxiety and have always used prescription strength Secret and, never fail, would sweat through my clothes before even leaving the house for an event. It's been so unbelievably frustrating for me over the years, and I'd resorted to wearing only blacks and dark grays unless I could cover up my pit stains with a thick sweater. I've tried every high-powered, prescription-strength, chemical-laden product out there - just short of botoxing my armpits - and none of them have gotten me through even 2 hours of being in a big group of people. I used to have to carry a stick of antiperspirant in my purse so I could reapply hourly so I would stink less (or at least smell like perfumed BO instead of slap-you-in-the-face BO), even if I couldn't help sweating through my shirts.A few months ago a holistic friend of mine was trying to build her own natural deodorant and she asked me to be her "tough-case" guinea pig. I happily agreed because I would love to get away from the aluminum in traditional antiperspirants. After a few exhausting and frustrating weeks of constantly stinking and washing my armpits every 2 hours and reapplying the test products I decided to do my own test and try a few of the highest rated natural products on the market to see if the issue was the test products, or just the fact that no natural product would ever work on this sad case of mine. I purchased the two highest Amazon-rated deo's: Soapwalla Deodorant Cream and Truly's Cream Deodorant. The price tags really made me flinch but I went ahead because I needed some answers. The Soapwalla and the Truly's are FREAKING MIRACLES brought to Earth just for little ol' me. I'm sure of it. I no longer sweat through my shirts, I no longer get awful clothes-ruining yellow pit stains if I wear a light colored clothing, I don't have white powder marks on the pits of all my dark tshirts, I no longer sweat through my clothes unless I'm in a stress or work-induced whole-body sweat.... as for odor, I can honest to whatever-god-you-believe-in say that I can go THREE days without reapplying nor having even a hint of body odor (hey, say I'm gross all you want but I had to test just how far I could go with this miracle product).Between the two products, the Soapwalla works best for me, but if I were giving all the antiperspirants I've tried a 1-10 rating I'd say all traditional prescription strength products get a 3 or less, Soapwalla gets a solid 10 because I couldn't ask for anything more, and Truly's gets a 7.5 only because I do still sweat a little bit when I wear it. So if you just want something that keeps you odor free but you don't have a problem with heavy sweating then Truly's is still perfect. They both smell like heaven. Soapwalla Citrus smells like a breezy, slightly sweet, creamy lemon (and it smells so good on my skin even after 2 days); and the Truly's smells like a gentle hint of coconut powdered sugar (kinda sweet and sexy!).As for the higher pricetag, I only have to apply every other day after I shower, and I only have to use a small pea sized dab on my finger for each pit. I've so far gone a month of switching back and forth between the two products now and both jars still look about 90% full. A single jar would easily last me 3-4 months or more. So they're well worth the price, if even just because I won't have to replace my clothes as often now that they don't get pit stained. <3A side note: if you have been using traditional deodorants or antiperspirants be sure to give your body a chance to detox for 3-5 days before trying a natural product like these. Believe it or not, you can have skin reactions like rash or clogged pores that wouldn't otherwise happen if you gave yourself a quick detox. Spend a few days using coconut oil or a quality peppermint oil (diluted! It burns the skin if you use it straight) as your deodorant, and washing a few times a day to let your body purge everything it needs to.Another note, I have extremely sensitive Irish skin that can't handle even a strong laundry detergent without becoming itchy and rashy. I can't do artificially scented lotions, nor scented bubble baths, but I've had no problem with either product so far. I was a little worried about the Truly's because of the sugar/candida concern but it hasn't been a problem. In fact, my armpits seem happier and less itchy now that I'm not constantly wet under my arms, nor dosing them with chemicals.Score one for the natural products being better than mainstream products!

AMAZING, do try.
EDIT 11/25/2015:Hi Everyone, I thought I'd update this review, since it's been about a year since I wrote my review below. So, sadly, I got a minor rash from using this (nothing major, but it happened more than once, and I was embarrassed to lift my arms, so I decided to discontinue using the product). I think it was from the sugar in the deodorant, since I heard that can cause it. I know I was super enthusiastic about it below, and honestly I still am - if you don't experience irritation using this, I would still say it's the best thing I've tried, bar none. I smelled so good all the time, and I was honestly happier, and I realize that sounds ridiculous, but now I'm constantly thinking about my pits and whether I'm sweating or smelling, and using Truly's was the only time I stopped worrying about it because I knew I always smelled good and my sweating was controlled. I smelled better than I smell using regular deodorant (I'm using normal deodorant again once more and I'm so disappointed because not only does it have aluminum, but I also sweat and smell more than I did when I was using Truly's). So it really upsets me, because in my opinion, Truly's is the best deodorant out of any deodorant, not just natural options. But I just don't want another rash. I would still highly recommend you try this, because if it doesn't give you problems, then I would say you've found what you're looking for. As for me, I'm about to give another natural deodorant one more try, so I'll let you know if it works out. Maybe I'll end up going back to Truly's? Sigh, who knows. For the record, though, Tom's natural deodorant was a complete waste for me, so I would say don't even bother trying that brand.REVIEW FROM FEBRUARY 2014:Listen here. This Truly's deodorant worked better for me than even 'clinical strength' ammonium deodorants you purchase at the grocery store. I have never, repeat, never been happier with my armpits, and on top of that it's all natural. Seriously, this product has improved my quality of life, not to put too fine a point on it. I mean, it works better than normal deodorants for me - and it's a natural product. I really feel I hit the jackpot. This should be your deodorant of choice. Now, I did experience a little irritation at first. But I learned what the perfect amount was for me (about a dime on each armpit, and now I experience no irritation). It worked so well that my armpits were desert dry at first, and that's what caused the redness. But I was so amazed (my armpits had never been that dry), that I kept going. Now, I experience no irritation, no desert dryness... just smooth, comfortable, nice-smelling armpits all day. Also, that's another thing. It smells great, like coconut oil. Other deodorants I used made me smell funny by the end of the day - by the end of a long day, I still smell good with Truly's. I feel like a spokesperson here, but I honestly am so glad this product exists. Ok, I'm done!

My search is finally over
For so long now I’ve been looking for the perfect natural unscented deodorant and Truly’s is the one.I only like using unscented deodorants. For a few years I used Speed Stick unscented antiperspirant/deodorant. But then it suddenly stopped working for me. This started a long search for a new unscented and effective antiperspirant/deodorant. I went through brand after brand until I finally found Sure brand unscented. It worked well and still does. It was stronger than speed stick which made me realize it’s probably not a good idea to be applying so much aluminum to my armpits every day. Especially with its connection to cancer and Alzheimer’s. So I began a new search to find a natural deodorant.I stumbled across Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone and was so excited to see it’s only ingredient was mineral salts. So I bought it and used it for a bit and it worked well. But after doing some more research I found out that it’s really just a block of alum made from bauxite ore, the ore which aluminum comes from. I was skeptical, no matter if it was made of alum or aluminum. So I sought out to find a truly(no pun intended) natural deodorant with simple ingredients I could recognize.I did a lot of research to find this deodorant. Many websites had lists of “the best” natural deodorants. Many of the deodorants on these lists weren’t actually natural and used ingredients like alum. But finally I saw Truly’s on one of these lists. I looked it up, saw it had decent reviews and decided to try it out. And I was surprised to find out just how well it worked! It really lasts the whole day, it doesn’t smell (besides the natural coconut scent from the coconut oil which goes away almost immediately), it doesn’t irritate, it doesn’t stain, and it really is all natural. Even though it’s not an antiperspirant I don’t feel like I’ve been sweating as much with it on. And I’d rather sweat a little than use an aluminum clogging antiperspirant. Sweating is natural and sweat itself doesn’t smell. So I really have nothing to complain about with this deodorant. It’s a little different how you rub it in instead of applying a stick but it’s worth the few extra seconds. I suppose the true test of this deodorant will be when the weather gets warmer but for now I’ve got nothing to complain about. If you’re looking for an all natural, unscented deodorant, this is the one to buy!EDIT: Almost 5 years later this is still my favorite deodorant! I've tried other natural brands like Humble, but nothing works as well as Truly's.

Pleasantly surprised, but...
I was skeptical that this product would work. But I have been surprised. It works well and lasts all day. It takes a bit getting used to to apply a paste to your armpit, least favorite thing about this deodorant. But it does work.I used an old spray deodorant yesterday and when I showered this morning I could smell the difference. I knew it was time for a shower, if you catch my meaning. But when I use Truly's the day before, there is no scent during the morning shower.Like the slight coconut scent when you apply it. Have not experienced any of the negative rash side effects other reviews have mentioned. Guess it varies by person. My wish would be a different way to apply it, like a stick applicator. But it does work and controls the odor all day.**UPDATE** - I have now experienced the rash others have discussed. Big red circles under each arm. Have stopped using halfway through the container. Disappointing.

Effective, natural, pleasant
I'm a decently hairy dude that sweats a lot. There is no beating around the bush - I can smell something fierce. I've used Old Spice for the last ten years, but as I've entered my early twenties, I've needed a change. Perhaps its a desire to not smell like Fruit-island or some 'sport pheromone' product, or that OS wasn't particularly effective and sometime irritating, but I decided to look for a more mature deodorant. So I set out to find a good men's deodorant. Criteria:* Effective for >8 hours (workday)* Non-staining (EXTREMELY important for nice clothing)* Non-irritating* 'Manly'/No smellSadly didn't find many good products that fit this criteria, at least from big retailers. I also wasn't very interested in totally blocking sweat using one of the 'crystal' products, hoping for a pure deodorant product, no 2-in-1's. I decided to give Truly's a try, on account of so many positive reviews.*Impressions*Truly's is beyond satisfactory. It is only 4 ingredients: coconut oil, sugar (? I know right?), baking soda, and beeswax. I had used coconut oil in the past for other purposes that surprised me (hair, groin, and ... lube) which all worked extremely well, but sugar was an interesting choice. Application is simple, although not as easy as a stick, and this stuff does NOT stain at all. Absolutely zero residue. All that is left behind after application is a slight coconut smell, which is barely noticeable and lasts all day. Absolutely no BO is evident after >12 hours stints, including workouts. My suits stay unblemished, while I don't smell at all.A warning: the first two days I sweat quite a bit, even when sitting and doing nothing. After my armpits reset and weren't fighting the anti-persperent, they actually sweat less than when I was using Old Spice. I guess the body is wiser than we are sometimes...Product a little smaller than desirable, but still giving 5 stars. Buying a second this instant.* UPDATE *Still giving this 5 stars. Still using Truly's. I wanted to add a couple notes to be a little more helpful to people. The formulation was tweaked about 5 months after my first purchase. The original formulation had some issues with temperature - when below ~60F, it would solidify similar to Coconut Oil, and be a little tough to work with. Bad for gym bags or in the car. When it was above 90, it would liquefy. The new formulation still does both, but with wider temperature ranges. To be clear, there weren't any changes to the ingredients list. The plastic 'tin' itself was changed at the same time, and isn't as strong now. Two (of several dozen) were delivered with broken caps.I still love Truly's and plan to continue use. I am annoyed with the shipping costs, but not ready to fix what isn't broken.* UPDATE W/ CONS *Some people are posting negative reviews, and they are worth mentioning. - This is definitely NOT the most consistent product. I'd put it more in the list of 'food at a supermarket' than 'industrial applicant'. The formulation changes from time to time, generally for the better. Still, it's not the most convenient material to apply. - Temperature range is narrow. I leave it at home where it doesn't give me problems. Wouldn't be great in the gym or car where it can solidify. - This does not appear to work well for everyone. Doesn't work well for my wife, and some other friends didn't like it. Rule of thumb: if you don't have hair armpits it may not work that well. Still works >24 hours for me on a lax day.
