I was talking about woodworkers with a stranger and he ended up mentioning this to me. I honestly didn't believe how good he said it was when he told me. He said it was a smooth and soft flexible tape that can be applied to tool handles in the woodshop. So I tried it and put it on a chisel mallet. It's like holding a tool with a soft pillowcase wrapped around it! It's awesome! I highly recommend it.It also doesn't leave a sticky residue if you remove it and change you mind, or if you spill something on it and need to change it.

Great stuff. Bought it to retape the handle on my softball bat. Worked very well. I'll use it to retape bat's in the future.

This Howies Tape was purchased on another site, but I wanted to review it here. I got tired of spending money on high end bat grips in colorful patterns that would not make it through a season. I decided to go old school and bought some official bat tape from a prominent baseball company that sounds like Yawlings. It felt cheap going on two bats waiting to be used. After a couple of days of zero use, I walked by and noticed the tape loosening in several spots - coming off with no use at all. Howies Tape to the rescue. I taped over the Smawlings tape and immediately noticed the increase in quality feel. Looks much better! Once we're able to swing it, I will report back and add to this unfinished review.
