If I could rate 0 stars, I would. First off, the color is a neon GREEN rather than a yellow as advertised, but I got over that aspect. Second, the wire stopped working after a DAY. A DAY. I changed the batteries to ensure that the issue wasn’t with installing old ones, which it wasn’t because regardless of the batteries, the wire stopped working somehow. I made this sign and was so excited with how it turned out, only to be greatly disappointed that my hard work was for nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM A DIFFERENT BRAND OR FROM A STORE YOU CAN WALK IN TO. I am requesting for a full refund. I’m so let down.

Bought this at the same time as another 15ft wire, a 5 ft wire and a 10 ft wire. It is brighter than the other 15 ft, but dimmer than the 5 and 10 ft. I am not sure if that is a difference in quality or due to length v. power supplied. Regardless, this wire is great for night costumes, but fairly unnoticeable if lights are on/daytime.I would not use this as safety lighting for night time running because I don't think it will be noticeable enough.

Yeah, was odd but the yellow "sheath" around the lighting wire, should probably be thicker. It does come off green, when lit. I used thinned down acrylic yellow paint, but it did make it dimmer, of course

Used these EL wires for some Halloween costumes. They look great when it is dark. When it is light out / dusk they are less noticeable. Quality was fine and easy to use.

Worked great for my son’s Halloween costume! Runs on 2 AA batteries, has the ability to blink at 2 different speeds and held up well over a night of trick or treating. Great neon blue color which looks great in the dark.

The light looks good and the product was generally as described. However, when I turned the light on, the pack emitted a high-pitch, soft electrical hum. The battery pack could probably be stuffed in a bag and the sound thus deadened, but that didn't work for my intended use.They did immediately accept my return, so they got an extra star for that.

Got this for a cosplay, but it only seems to stay in one position, as a fast and rapid and spontaneous (and nauseating) strobe. The light is dim except for one very bright flicker, and the light only works if you hold the button down. You never know when it's going to flicker bright. I've tried it with seven different batteries, all in different combinations, and even toyed with connection point. Still, it doesn't seem to work. For the purpose I need it for, I need it at a steady light and for it to work without having to hold onto it at all times. For the purposes I needed it for, it was far from practical. Very, very disappointed, since all the reviews seemed severely positive..

Overall the construction quality is on par with the price. I was hoping for a brighter white, but I learned from reading that white will not be as bright as other colors with respect to electroluminescent wire. Thus not a fault of this product.
