Worth the money
Had to wait a while for delivery since they came from Germany. Right up front I want to say that the seller (Chris) has delivered a 110% excellent informative, concerned & professional satisfactory customer service experience to me. Next, the most important thing I could say to anyone before buying these if you are an American like myself.... and that is: American sizes are vanity sizes. That means the size we buy in the store are not the real sizes we wear. In general we are overweight and the sizes printed on the pants we buy are smaller than the actual size that we really do wear. These German pants are TRUE TO SIZE. They do not "run small" as some have said. So go get yourself a tape measure and wrap it around your waist to get your "true" waist size when ordering and order accordingly. Don't lie to yourself or buy with a "wishful thinking" mindset. Order your true size and you will be satisfied.Next, I read that these pants are "heavy" material and so on. The truth is that they are not all that heavy. They are slightly thinner than most denim jeans that are traditionally made and closer to the thickness of the women's stretchy jeans that are currently being produced. After wearing them for a little while around the house I can agree that they are comfortable. They are more comfortable than jeans and have a "roomy" fit in the legs and thigh. I can move about in them and stretch my legs with no restrictions. The crotch area does not pinch me or clamp down on my groin area when I spread my legs apart as far as I can. They seem as though they are perfect for climbing and they also have small holes sewn into the crotch are for venting excess heat. Because of my height (5'10") the length of the pants are perfect for me. When I raise my knee to my chest or sit in a chair the pants never raise above my ankle. At no point do they make me look like I am about to wade through high water. Another thing I like about these pants is that they can easily pass for a presentably clean casual look as well as a rugged outdoor pant they were intended to be. Trade out the combat boots and shirt for a nice pair of shoes and a button up shirt and these pants will leave you feeling very presentable.Lastly, I will point out the aspects I find to be "less than desirable".The front pockets I think should be deeper and have more capacity. I like a deep front pocket that things are not likely to fall out of when I raise my knee or turn on my side. These pockets are just enough to slip your hands into with out a great deal of capacity. Larger screened cell phones will not ride safely stowed in the front pockets without some degree of exposure and there is only one rear pocket. The side pockets will easily stow your large screen cell phone if needs be but not the front pockets.Next, I am very unsatisfied with the top button of the fly. The button is made on the inside and when the top button of the fly is buttoned the button its self is on the inside against your belly rather than on the outside against your belt buckle. I think it may be designed this way to protect the button from getting torn off by your buckle but it is extremely difficult to button and unbutton. The button hole of that top button is also an overly tight fit. Perhaps it is something a person will get used to over time and the button hole may also relax and grow larger over time.... but for now.... if you buy these pants you had better hope you don't need to make a hasty trip to the restroom because it takes effort and additional time to unbutton these pants.Lastly, the belt loops on the pants are larger than the belt loops we Americans typically have on our pants. I always wear a wide heavy belt and my belt has 3/4" or more extra room inside the belt loops of these pants. That may not matter to some folks but it does matter to me. It matters because the pants will roll over the top of the belt and present a sloppy out of order appearance over time of wear or during times of heavy perspiration when your garments get wet and clingy. So in conclusion this is the take away... these pants are well worth the money, the seller is not the manufacturer of the pants but he is totally awesome with customer service and product satisfaction, the pants fit perfect as true to size, they are comfortable and durably made, the top button is unusual and awkward, you should buy an extra wide belt and don't expect to keep anything in the front pocket without a greater risk of it sliding out if you are an outdoorsy active person.

Great pants! Very well-made
I usually don’t write reviews, but I was impressed with these moleskin fatigues. Nice classic cut. The seller also gives an impression of being affable in writing a personal note with the item and some Hasbro gummies to good effect, too. I’m usually a 32 waist and the 34 that I ordered is a snug fit on the top block so keep that in mind. The leg is a cool straight cut, with prolly 8 or 8.5” hem.

Great pants, exactly as expected. A little tighter than vanity sizes.
Exactly the same as the army surplus pants from my youth in the 90s. A little stiffer because they are new and I bought a 36 which was snug but good (I usually wear a snug 34 for my jeans). I'm short with reasonably big thighs so they were long of course but there was ample space in the thigh area. I wore them tapered in the 90s and had these tapered also, otherwise they are typical army pant baggy.

Vintage Cold War Bundeswehr Pants.
They are exactly like the surplus ones I use to get at the Army Navy Stores back in late 80's and early 90's. They run small, just like the original ones, so order a size up. Same quality and feel. Nice product.

Comfortable
Love these pants. Warm and comfortable. Excellent service from across the pond. Word of advice- buy the large, I fit a 38 but 40 are perfect.

This supplier is a business that I always want to purchase from.
The pair of pants that I ordered were snug in the waist. I suspect it's because Americans are not built like other nationalities. The pants are German military style pants. The reason I gave a 5 star rating was that the company went out of their way to provide me with a larger size pair of pants immediately when I reached out to them. Their response and service was well worth 5 stars to me. To summarize, I received a replacement pair of pants that fit and are made well.Thank you.
