Simple 2 Pot voltage compare controlled relay with decent AMP rating
I was looking for a voltage controlled relay with 10-20A rating that could save its high/low settings across power cycles and figured this item was just the thing I needed.Very simple, two pots and one LED. How much simpler could it get?Well...With a 0-30V bench supply to power it and absolutely NO documentation on this device I started to attempt to set the pots. One connector is labeled 'BAT' with +/- and one connector is labeled 'OUT' with +/-. One pot is labeled 'ON' and the other is labeled 'OFF'.Next comes the "fun" part - at what voltage does this turn on or off?Feeding it 13V I turned the 'On' Pot seemingly forever in both directions. (are these NOT 10-20 turn pots?). I did finally get it to turn on.I then turned the pot the other way seeing where it might turn off. It won't work that way.I fiddled and fiddled with BOTH pots and at one point I was able to get it to turn on again and another point got it to turn off but never was able to get it to turn back on again and SURELY not on/off at any "set point" that I wanted.Out of frustration I disconnected it and changed my attention to a semidigital device that does the same thing.Great idea however poor documentation and execution. Maybe some instructions on how to get the high and low points set and calibrated would make this device useful. Currently it is bound for the trash can.

functional but not the best
I purchased this for a project I am putting together to repair a work light that is battery operated. while this unit initially appeared to function it showed oddities as the battery voltage dropped. the relay started buzzing almost nonstop and using a multimeter showed that the battery voltage dropped over 2 volts when this happened. initially I assumed this was an adjustment problem but, as adjustments were made it became clear that bumping or moving the unit caused this buzzing and voltage change to disappear. this same phenomenon also happened when the battery voltage reached the set voltage for disconnect. the build quality doesn't look bad but, the really bad part is there are no instructions included in the packaging. I spent 10-15 minutes looking online and found none there either. I'm sure this is a functioning product but some documentation would be worth its weight in gold.

Kills batteries
This does pretty much the opposite of what its advertised to do. It does cut-off the primary battery from the load but it also contains electronics (relay and LED) that continue to drain the battery down to nearly zero and that's not good for LiPos. So, if you buy this, once it cuts power, disconnect the battery from it.
