As a fan of David Bowie since I was a teenager, I've spread my love of him and his music to my kids. Now my 4 year old has became a huge Bowie fan. He loves this book and begs me to read it to him over and over again. The book teaches kids about the importance of individuality and creativity. I bought the Jane Goodall and Steven Hawking books and I'm sure we'll love them just as much. Keep these wonderful books coming!

I got this for my pre-K class. It's very cute and well-made and the kids actually really like it!

My daughter and I have been collecting books in this Series for my Granddaughter even before she was born. We both are fans of his music and what we knew of him as a person. I pre-ordered and it was a birthday present. Great mini bio that touches on the key times in his life. His personality and talent very much shines through.

I preordered a copy of this book as soon as I saw it available. It’s not everyday you see a Bowie children’s book so it was a must for us. The book shows Bowie’s life as a young child growing up in an ordinary household in London who had big dreams. He stayed true to himself and his interests and eventually became the music icon that he is. Sadly, he is gone but he’s made such an impact that he’ll never be forgotten.My daughter, a book lover already at her young age was excited when the book arrived earlier today. We love these Little People, Big Dreams books and can’t wait to add more to her ever growing collection.

I love this book. David Bowie was my favorite musician. I got this for my grandson and he loves for me to read it to him. He has fun pointing out David on each page. Very cute story.

This is a perfect gift for anyone with an appreciation of the artist’s work. I love how it gently incorporates song lyrics into the minimal text, like how his classmates “weren’t sure if he’s a boy or a girl.” The noteworthy illustrations serve the text well.
