Using this as a control for a heat mat. As with all thermostats where you put the thermometer sensor is important and will depend on setup and what you are keeping warm. Or cold.I use for heating and there is a setting called DIFF which is confusing some.You set the temperature you want the heat to turn off at. You then use the DIFF to set the temperature at which the heat comes on again.So if I have a maximum temperature of 25C and a DIFF of 5, the thermostat will turn OFF at 25 and turn ON again at 20. DIFF is from zero to 5.It does make a click when turning on/off but this is quiet but might trouble light sleepers or those used to very quiet bedrooms.Reliability - time will tell

Was a little hesitant getting this since it's not a brand I've heard of, but it replaced my faulty Komodo thermostat and I have to say, this is much better. The LCD screen is so handy as it shows the current temp, so I don't need a separate thermometer any more. It seems pretty accurate as well, checked with a laser thermometer. I love that you can set the difference in degrees the temp can fall before it comes back on. And no daft fiddly little recessed screw knob to adjust the temperature. It just works. 10/10 would recommend.I had issues with my old Komodo one since I bought it years ago. Alsways having to change the temperature and set it far beyond what it was marked as. But this... I haven't had to adjust it at all. And it's actually cheaper too which is just amazing. Ok i'll stop now! Suffice to say, I'm very happy, and so is my little Leopard Gecko :D

Very good thermostat. However i have found the same one on Aliexpress and Wish for half the price few months after purchase so i am dissapointed about that. The thermostat is simple and easy to set up. Very nice modern screen. Only thing is it does clicking noise when current is cut and turned back on. It may be annoying for some people who live in the same room constantly.

Good little thermo, it’s a little confusing to use but it gets the job done if you don’t have the money to fork out for a 50 quid thermo

Great quality bought for an African pygmy hedgehog as they need a pulse thermostat works great and had been keeping her enclosure at a safe and steady heat which is highly important to prevent hibernation for over a month now I'm so pleased as it's so much easier to work than a lot of these reptile pulse thermostats, it's slicker and more modern looking

I use this for my bearded dragon vivarium it works as it should and so far So good but it’s early days yet. The only thing that’s not really very good is the plus dos t seem to be able to push fully into the unit itself which does worry me a bit but so far no issues and working

Very goof for the money, and I like the large LED temperature display on the unit. Being from China the instructions are non existent. But with a bit of trial and error it's easy enough to figure out.
