Flora - Floralax, 7 oz granules

I use this product every day to keep my digestion and elimination healthy. If you are wheat-sensitive and like additional fiber in your diet, you could try this, as it's psyllium-based.

Floralax is the best fibre product I have found. Was using it regularly, then supply chain problems prevented my purchase. Then I found it on Prime!! YEA! Problem solved!

I bought this on recommendation from my naturopathic doctor. I'd been using Benefiber, and though that product was GREAT for completely dissolving to the point that you can't detect it, it is a wheat dextrin product, and she wanted me away from all wheat due to inflammation. A previous doctor had wanted me to steer away from Benefiber to Metamucil because although it does work as a laxative, it's not as effective. Metamucil gives your stools a right consistency that helps when trying to treat hemorrhoids--less strain. However, I hated the taste and consistency and my naturopathic doctor said there was an ingredient in it that she didn't like (can't remember what it was).This product is not completely invisible, and it definitely produces a texture, but I wouldn't exactly call it a grit like Metamucil produces. It's more like the consistency of Cream of Wheat, and put into a protein shake, it was very pleasant as long as it was drunk quickly (it thickens quickly otherwise)..The one downside to this is the cost. As compared to ANY other fiber product, this is quite a bit more expensive, and at best will last only a month. My doctor recommends buying the three components of this product--psyllium husks, oat bran, and flax seed--and make my own in the blender.

Keeps me going the right way. I don’t personally have issues with a taste when I waT results. It’s bland. I mix with hot water.

It's hard to find a product that not only say's what it going to do, but it works and keeps me regulated and I put it in my protein drink and in my oatmeal. Doesn't taste so great with just water, but the results are quick.

Great product- I mix with a little (1/2 to 1 tsp) protein powder to enhance the taste without messing with the formula. A strong part of my stay healthy plan! I love it so much I have it on auto delivery.

I ad this to my smoothy in the mornings and I think it works well. I have a sensitive system so laxatives do me in. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it makes my smoothy grainy and a bit thick. Maybe it would be good baked into muffins. It's a good product for a natural alternative to a daily laxative.
