The black-out blind itself is effective - as the name suggests. The size is also quite decent. The blind comes with velcro and suction cups as the adhesive method, but they are only good for 1-2 days of sticking. After that it needs to be reinforced - a little inconvenience, but not a deal breaker

As far as I have known and experienced in the past few years, Amazon Basics products are really wonderful. This curtain is no exception. Great craftsmanship, perfect material quality, thick curtain cloth in this certain experience, stupendous packaging with least carbon footprint, exact product details on the packaging itself, amazingly fast deliveries and hassle-free experiences. However, even after all of the above, I would have to return this product with an extremely heavy heart since my bedroom is of a very small size and these dark navy blue curtains are making it look even smaller than its actual size and making me feel hugely suffocated. And the saddest part is that Amazon Basics does not believe that they should be manufacturing and selling such glorious curtains in far more basic colors like green, red and a few others as well, with of course me looking for a different green colored blackout curtain from a separate brand now. Had Amazon Basics provided choices of this curtain in basic greens like olive greens or mehendi green or forest green or a few others too, I would have stuck with this curtain till Eternity, God willing. Alas, need to let it go as the color choice is very limited and zoned. But still, if you are looking for navy blue blackout warm curtains, it just doesn't get better than this, or probably I have never seen it getting better than this!!

Lovely blackout curtains. Doesnt matter what colour you choose guys, the blackout material is on the inside. And it works very well. Go ahead and buy. Ive been using it for a year now, and i noticed a tiny hole in the curtain, very tiny which was noticeable as a tiny bean of sunlight came through. But overall, the quality is top-notch, and is perfect as a black-out curtain. They are thick and durable.

I made the purchase of this "Darkening Blackout Curtain Set" for my room's entrance door after lobby but did not worked for me because of the reason that it was made of different colours; white and taupe.Pictures, shown by the seller do not gives you the complete view. It is one sided view. Other side is has white colour with folds in taupe colour.What I believe is, it is best suitable for windows only as the folds at top and bottom do not show up at that place because of the walls but at the doors folds show up because of 2 different colours used which does not looks beautiful as it looks patchy.I have no complaints about fabric. It is thick and made of good quality.Happy Shopping

I am a regular Amazon customer.I bought these long, blue curtains for the drawing room (4 of them altogether) with the darkening blackout because in summer our drawing room gets flooded with heat and light. I washed them in the washing machine (as per 'instructions for care' given), hung them to dry on a clothesline, but the back gummed together and did not separate till pulled apart. (see photo of front and back views of curtain).The curtains are spoilt and the money is wasted.Nowhere in the care instructions has it been said that the backing is of a gummy, plastic nature and please wash with great care and hang each curtain STRAIGHT AND SEPARATE on the clothesline so the back does not gum together!I am amazed at this.I have another set of curtains in one of the bedrooms (beige) and will now (having been warned) be very careful when I wash and hang them to dry.This INFORMATION REGARDING THE PRODUCT AND THE RELEVANT CARE INSTRUCTION HAS TO BE GIVEN so the customer makes her purchase keeping this in mind.I am upset, angry and disappointed.I have 4 curtains which are of no use now. I will have to replace them at an unexpected cost to me.

Performs as intended blocks the SUN perfectly .Product quality is top notch ,It has Cloth Inlays instead of metal so you can clean them easily in a Washing Machine .

Leí otras reseñas y tenía mis dudas de esta cortina pero le quedo a la medida a mi ventana y desde que pegue las ventosas no se han movido ni despegado. Tapa muy bien, no deja pasar nada de luz y lo mejor es que no tuve que hacer hoyos en pared y la puedo llevar conmigo a cualquier lado con mucha facilidad.

I purchased this because our regular black out curtains don’t work completely as the rod is blocked in between the molding and the ceiling. I stick it directly on the window underneath our curtains and it works effectively to block out all sun during naps & early bedtimes. The suction works well and are easy to stick on the window. We even have trouble waking in the morning because the room is so dark! Haha Once we wake up, I open all the windows and unstick the top half of it to let some light in during the day, then stick it back on for sleeping.

The media could not be loaded. These room darkening curtains have made life with an infant so much easier. They definitely darken the room and provide a great environment for sleeping. They are also easy to iron and clean, and have proven to be very durable. Will be purchasing more for different rooms!

The curtains themselves are worth 5 stars, the issues I’m having getting them, is worth 1 star. I am literally on my FOURTH attempt at ordering these curtains. I have ordered different colors, for different rooms. The ones that I finally received are nice, quality and worth the money. I have had one -heck -of -a -time getting them all, though. Still waiting on the final three pairs to come in. They lost two shipments, and damaged one, that never made it here. What is going on?!!! This is all in the last week and a half!Praying this shipment makes it. The navy blue pair I received, for one of my rooms, came with Only ONE tie back 😒Other than that, they are nice and thick. Blackout and thermal, and feel soft.
