It easily accommodates the 30" monitor I use as a my primary. Angling horizontally to adjust to the light conditions in the office is as easy as a gentle push on the edge of the monitor. Swiveling out from the wall to recline and watch videos is easy as well. The motion has enough resistance to feel solid and remain solidly in place once you're done pushing the monitor into place.

This was exactly the type of monitor mount I was needing to complement my height adjustable desk. I have a Dell P4317Q mounted to my wall above my main monitor. When I adjust my desk into a standing position, the 43" monitor is obscured by mt main monitor, so I also needed a way to vertically adjust the 43" monitor. So, as far is its purpose is concerned, the Ergatron wall mount it is handling that well.Putting it together, on the other hand, was not so easy. Before I ordered the wall mount, I verified on Ergatron's web site that this wall mount supported the Dell P4317Q, which was confirmed. The mounting screws (M6 30mm) though were not long enough to attach the mounting arms to the monitor itself. The back of the monitor is slightly curved and the VESA mounting location on the back of the monitor is recessed. Normally the monitor stand would be attached in that location. Since the mounting arms are much too large to fit inside the recessed area on the back of the monitor, longer screws (M6 35mm) were necessary. So, one trip to Lowes and I was then able to attach the arms.Second issue then arose when I was checking the tilt mechanism of the mounting arms once attached to the back of the monitor. One arm worked okay, in that it allowed for movement, but would not hold position with the thumbscrews tightened. I was less concerned with this since I fully intended to have the monitor tilted anyway. The other monitor arm would not tilt at all. I took the top bolt out of the tilt mechanism thinking that maybe it was too tight. I then noticed that the bolt was not put through the bolt sleeve on either the top or bottom sections of the tilt mechanism (see photo). This was preventing the arm from tilting at all. Fortunately, I figured out how to take the bottom bolt off and put both bolts through their sleeves. Now that arm is fully functional. I think there is some additional QC needed from the manufacturer.

I paid $279 for this but it works great. I use it with a 40" Samsung LED and it glides effortlessly. It took a few times to get it adjusted just right(adjustment screw included). But we use it with sit/stand desks as a monitor mount and it works great

I have tried to contact the seller but they have not gotten back to me. I believe we got a faulty wall mount it slides to the top and is able to stay at the top no problem, but as soon as a lower it slightly, it slides/slams down to the bottom. Would not recommend.

This is a good product, but it's not meant for any TV under 46". If you attach a TV that's too light to this mount, it will always stay at the top most position. Even if you have a 46" TV, you might want to talk to Ergotron support anyway to make sure your TV is compatible. If not, you should get the Glide HD instead.

Very happy with this product. Note the TV will come off the wall by appx 5 inches with this bracket behind. Nevertheless it is not major issue at all.Smooth movenent.
