This necklace is exactly as it looks on screen. It hangs a bit low for me but easily untied-retied for perfect fit or change out to a chain. It’s a piece you can wear with a bathing suit or dress it up with designer earrings for a naturalist look. I’ve seen pieces like this go for 3x’s this price at a design boutique at the sea shore.I thought it would be Red. But via the wood grains it’s maroon or maroon brown. Thus, it got 4stars for craft etc. only because it wasn’t a deep dark Red. The wood itself is actually well crafted!

Looks nice with plain tops, nice piece of inexpensive fashion jewelry for a casual look. Hangs below breast but length can be adjusted.

OMG! I love this! It is so much fun to wear. Casual and boho, it’s a great way to add color to an outfit. I was concerned that the beads might be more green than turquoise, but they are indeed turquoise. This could be worn with shorts, jeans, boho tops/dresses, etc.

I am always asked to submit a review, usually it is the same week I receive the item. I will do my best to submit my review but only after I have given the item the proper time to get a true experience. I have worn this necklace no more than 4 times since I have purchased it. Wore it yesterday to work and the "rope chain" broke off when I was removing my seatbelt. I thought, how could that break so easily? what did I do? so I grabbed the "rope chain" pulled it at both ends and it easily snapped apart. The jewelry itself is beautiful. If you do buy this, plan on buying your own rope to hang it so you don't risk losing the pendant.

It’s not exactly expensive jewelry; but, at this price point, and as simple as the design is (4 pieces, very easy assembly), I WAS expecting the circular part of the of pendant to at least be a nice, rich woodgrain, as pictured. It’s not. :(If the circular part is wood, it is something like balsa. It is VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. There’s no mahogany stain - just what appears to be a thin, quickly applied coat of flat black paint. The size is as advertised (about 2.5” wide). The zinc teardrop pendant is exactly as expected (what looks like black and white paint in the main product image is actually shadows and lighting). There’s a matching tiny ring which links the two pendants together (which are otherwise loose). The cord, which appears to be brown faux suede, is a little longer than advertised. It’s about 37” untied (36” necklace with the knot).For me, the necklace is too lightweight to be worn as is and even the low price is too much for the few basic components; but, it doesn’t seem worth returning. This isn’t really Amazon’s fault. I will use the components to make a more wearable necklace. Minus 2 stars: 1 for the cheap, low quality and 1 because I cannot help but feel a bit bamboozled by this seller.
