I bought a Samsung 512GB microsd card to store and use mostly digital media on a smartphone. The Samsung has worked flawlessly for over 4 years and counting.

Got my other 512 GB Samsung SD Card from Amazon....Tested and is Good....Bought a $49.95 Fake Counterfeit one off ebay firstand thought I was getting a deal....But tested it and I could easily see it was a Fake...So I'm sending it back for arefund....The Counterfeit one formatted to 499 GB.......Instead of 476 GB like this Real one I purchased from thisseller on Amazon...Which I tested and works and preforms GREAT!!....And is the Proper Storage space....I included2 pictures to visibly see some of the differences in a Counterfeit and Real Samsung 512 GB Evo Plus Micro SD Card....Notice Good one ( Top One ) Is much lighter....The Fake One is Very Dark...Good One Formats to 476....Unlke...Counterfeit that formats to 499 GB.....Which isn't the Real Space....And is only about 64 GB's of Space....And Overwrites after 64 GB's and Corrupt's all the files you have on there....Notice the picture to the Right...NoticeBack plastic Shield Cover over Card and Adapter.....Which the Fake One does not have...Also the Authentic Samsung512 GB Evo Plus Micro SD Card is Much Harder to Open....Where as the Fake Counterfeit One Open's way to Easy...Tested with an App Called Fake Device Test....As you can see in the far right picture...Test Result - Passed...0 Read Errors..And 0 Write Errors....Also 0 Verification Errors.......All proper Storage space is on Card...Card is Legit and Genuine....

Like many of the other reviews, it seems the cards coming from Samsung are legit! Which is great! Not only did it have a nice writing speed of 72.3 MB BUT also an even nicer reading speed of 80 MB! WAY faster than other brands currently on the market! I had purchased a 256 GB microSD card in the past and it was unbearably slow! This was a pleasant surprise!Not only that, but the value of this card can't be beat! Other manufacturers on the market are trying to sell cards with less storage capacity than this for TWICE as much! Literally I once saw a 400 GB microSD card they were trying to sell for upwards of 200.00! Unacceptable! I've always purchased Samsung products whether it be phones or TVs and it's great to see that their naturally reliable and sturdy device promise still holds up even for their microSD cards!I am ESPECIALLY thankful that unlike certain other brands, Samsung really checks the quality of their goods before selling! In the future, i'll definitely only shop Samsung for microSD cards! Excellent product! I have no complaints! Thanks, Samsung!
