No complaints , work well so far , filters all sun but still lets perfect amount of light in. The slow retraction is a nice touch.

I bought the 5 feet blinds for my houseboat sliding glass doors. They were easy to install and go up and down smoothly. Great find. Very satisfied.

I was searching high and low for a way to cover my standard size slider patio door behind my drapes, which are sheer. I live in Las Vegas, and I'm prepping for the summer sun in advance. Typically I use blackout curtains, but they add so much bulk to the window and leave a gap, so I wanted to have something closer to the actual window, and couldn't find a cellular or any other kind of blind to allow for the door handle, and everything else was 200 dollars. This "technically" was 2 inches shorter than my door, but I took a chance that it may be longer that advertised, and it worked! It is perfect, it blocks the sun as well as my other shades, and it was a breeze to install. The shade comes up SUPER slowly, which is also great, it doesn't snap up like the old timey roller shades. Best of all, it was 61.00 dollars! If you have a standard slider, get yourself this to block the devil summer sun!

I found the sizing description very confusing. I decided to order the 40" size. Here's what I got....The outer most measurement of the brackets is 39.5" wide. Meaning if you have a 40" niche that the shade has to fit in, there would be .25" left to space on each side of the brackets.The shade fabric itself turned out to be 38.5" wide. I intend to install this shade above my window frame. I was wanting the shade fabric itself to be wider. I will have to see if this is going to work or not. Might have to return. I'm trying to block out the light. I will have curtains too, so it might work. I just wanted to warn people what they will get so that they will order what they actually need,Update.... I decided to keep the size I ordered. The shade is very nice quality. Fabric on both sides. They are not like the old style of roller shades where you give them a tug and they violently spring upwards. They raise in a slow steady pace all the way to the top. If you want the shade to cover the upper half part of the window then you need to wait for the shade to go all the way to the top and then bring it back down to where you want it. They do block the light but it does peek out on the sides. But I have curtains for this problem. Also I had a little bit of an issue with installing. I found them to be hard to snap into the wall brackets. I found that you have to squeeze the part that snaps into the bracket and push pretty hard. If I had had a taller ladder I would have had more leverage to do so, but I don't have a lot of upper body strength and working above my head was challenging. I was able to do it though. I installed two shades and I suppose there was a learning curve. The second one was easier. Also I was screwing into wood and I needed to find some shorter screws than what they gave me for this purpose. But I definitely would order these shades again.

I installed these myself without any help. Love the automatic aspect and that I can still see outside clearly without the sun's glare.

I’ve purchased these for my past 3 homes. This time I was disappointed by changes they’ve made to the mounting brackets. Previous metal 1-piece bracket was easier to use, lower profile from a designer’s eye, and almost impossible to break. New plastic version with spring is too prone to break and doesn’t allow for the same low profile installation. Wall mount installs to the same look as ceiling mount (while it screws into the wall, the bracket is designed for it to hang down from bracket rather than out from wall). Also has unsightly sticker behind roller that says “CA City of Industry. Made in Taiwan. Part #…”. Why couldn’t that be on the back where no one could see and it could be more easily removed?

Soft close , work and look great so far. We’ll see if they hold up but for now I am happy
