IzubaImisozi Medium Roast Ground Coffee 250g

As someone who usually pays over the odds for "independent" and "artisan" coffees, I thought I would give this a go as a cheaper alternative. I enjoy African coffees immensely, especially lighter roasted products. Unfortunately, this was a miss. Tested in both a french press and an aero-press- the grind size is medium-fine, both resulted in bitter, stale, brews; tried using more coffee, increasing brew time- again, the resultant dishwater could have been nescafe gold blend. There is no doubt this is quality arabica, but it's been badly processed- and a long time ago. Do not recommend.

First sip of the first cup was a case of 'What is this?!'....next sip was 'do I like this..?' Third cup in is 'Wow I love this chocolaty syrupy 'coffee'. If you want to try something different, give it a go, I for one will get it again.

Not as desired just average flavour, still looking for the unique taste I’ve found once before.

Liked the taste of this coffee but had to play around with strength. 4 or 5 scoops makes two full mugs of filter coffee at medium strength. Have ordered their dark roast version to see if makes stronger cup. Would order again but like to try different makes for flavour.

An absolute favorite. Love the slight chocolate aroma.Packaging is convenient, sturdy and gorgeous.

Good value. Especially for those who prefer the gentle flavours of African coffees.

This one was particularly nice, I highly recommend it. Very well rounded tastebon a Chemex.
