A five star pen in one star packaging.
This series of fountain pen is very highly regarded by literally everyone that has used/owned it. I agree with them. To me, the high points are the small EDC appropriate overall size, the piston fill system resulting in a large ink supply and the famous glassy smooth nib. Additional features I appreciate are the very adequate window in the barrel to view the ink supply and the overall appeal of the design, fit, finish, etc. Sure, I would prefer a gold nib instead of steel...but for the very reasonable cost by ordering from the UK I’ll gladly take the steel nib as it makes no difference to the writing experience. My one issue is with the packing. It arrived in a well crushed light cardboard sleeve type box inside a thin tag board mailing envelope. No padding of any kind. Very surprised the pen made it through unscathed. So it’s a five star pen handled in a one star manner. I haven’t had a German medium nib pen in a long while...really looking forward to it.

Beautiful, and a joy to use for a left-hander
Even though this is Pelikan's budget pen, it's perfectly put together and all the finishes are beautiful, especially the brown marble resin. I'm a left-handed overwriter with average sized man hands, and the size of the pen is good for me when posted. I hold the barrel slightly above the screw threads because I like the extra reach to write loopy. The medium nib has pretty generous ink flow and it writes effortlessly with very little pressure. With a bit more pressure the nib gives some feedback, but I don't do that. The pen arrived with very little packaging, in an unglamorous box, and I really liked that. I would rather pay for craftsmanship than packaging.

Pelikan is always a good choice.
I already have a Pelikan M200 in blue marbled with a F nib that I bought 20 years ago. It has been my favorite pen and still writes well. Lately I wanted another like it just for fun. So I got the brown marbled with EF nib and it writes really well. The nib is smooth, but because it is an EF it gives some feedback from the texture of the particular paper that I am writing on. I like writing in Strathmore Mixed Media sketchbooks which have a kind of vellum texture and the feedback is fine. The price of $109 from this seller was also a motivating factor. It is much less than from other sellers; and so I bought an extra nib either as a spare or to try in another pen.The size and balance suit me very well; and, of course, I am pleased with the brown marble look.

Very nice Fountain Pen
The Pelikan fine M200 is very nice writer. I use it with Noodlers Golden Brown. This pen might be to small if your hands are on the large side l-XL. I wear a large size glove and I wouldn’t want this FP any smaller. I also use this pen for sketching. It is a light weight FP.

Exceptional quality, timeless classic style
I own two of this series myself (a M200 and M205) and just bought my wife this one, the M200 Brown Marbled in a medium nib. It is the perfect light weight in the hand to write almost endlessly without fatigue but still feels solid and high quality. Pelikan nibs always write beautifully and precisely, obviously when paired with 4001 and Edelstein series inks, and also others like KWZ which I paired this one for her with KWZ Honey. You can never own too many (or even possibly enough) Pelikan pens, and this is certainly one you should own.

Pelikan Classic M200 is perfect writing companion
I have gone through 3 ink refills and each time I use the pen I smile. Now dreaming of getting another Pelikan with OM nib to have a little flair. Am very glad I purchased this pen.

Superb Pelikan Souveran fountain pen.
Pelikan is one of the half dozen superb fountain pen brands, and my personal favorite. This one lives up to its expectations. One cannot go wrong with any Pelikan Souveran pen -- if one can afford it.

Another exceptional pen by Pelikan
Great little pen, fantastic EF nib. Does not come with the regular Pelikan box and papers, but at this price who cares. Very satisfied.

Excellent pen, butter-smooth nib
Pelikan does make some of the best pens in the world, with excellent and very smooth nibs. A pleasure to write with, and quality to last a lifetime. OK, it is not a cheap pen, but also not as ridiculously priced as some others. Money well spend, in my view.

Suitable for a childs hand.
Too small, too lite. Need the top on to secure the pen to crutch of hand when writing. When are pen makers going to realise that men are not all interested in small and dainty. Gave it to my very young niece (very small hands).

I am very disappointed
The pen is good, but it was delivered without a folding box, just in a piece of cardboard. It was intended as a gift, and I am extremely disappointed.
