Used for building a gated fence
I had to rebuild my 5-year old gated fence, and I decided to use pocket screws after watching many youtube videos to make sure that my gate is strong and lasts a really long time. This jig allowed me to easily drill the holes for the pocket screws. It comes with the jig that puts the starting point in the proper spot, a clamp to hold it down, the drill bit used to drill the hole, and a really long square bit to drive in the screws. This kit also came with a variety of screws of varying lengths. Each is used for a specific thickness of wood.Since my job was outside, I used the blue screws, but I had to buy more from my local HD to finish the job. They carry the same jig there, but the one I bought from Amazon came with a clamp. This jig kit is perfect for building a fence and making sure my cross members are held tight and strong to my posts. It is easy to use, but you do get tired of drilling all the holes. When you tighten up the screws, you can really feel the wood (cross members and frame I built for the gate) grab onto the adjoining piece. It's much better than just pounding a bunch of nails through the wood (as was evident by my original fence/gate falling apart). If my gate/fence holds up like they say it will, then this jig kit will more than have paid for itself.

AMAZING
As a complete amateur at woodworking, I hoped this would be easy enough for me to use. I living in a manufactured home (a.k.a. trailer, double-wide) and have been making over my kitchen, living room, and dining room. The cabinet quality isn't the greatest, so I wanted to try my hand at building my own kitchen island. From everything I'd read on blogs, people seemed to love the Kreg jig system, so I ordered this one. Straight out of the box, I admit that I was confused. I wasn't sure exactly how to use it and the instructions weren't very detailed. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and then learned how to use it. I found a PDF from Kreg that shows how to build cabinets, and that had the MOST helpful instructions for how and when to use the jig. I had to modify all the measurements in the instructions to fit my needs, but in the end, I built this kitchen island from scratch! I'd never made anything before this, and I was able to build a high quality kitchen island in about four hours. (I also built a countertop, which isn't in the photos). The jig is nothing short of amazing! I love love love using it and it gives very professional-looking results. There are no visible screws on my cabinet, because I built the entire thing using the jig. I recommend buying more screws, as I ran out of the ones included in the kit very quickly.I also bought Kreg's cabinet hardware jig, and each of the products was worth EVERY single penny. Easy enough for this amateur to build a cabinet from scratch. Highly recommend!

Screws are pricey but worth the convenience
Product worked fine, would be nice if it would work on larger size with spending more money!

If you're measuring, you're doing it wrong
I bought my set of Kreg Precision Router Table Set Up Bars at the same time I upgraded my router table. After using them a few times, I'm starting to appreciate a bit of advice I've seen a couple times on woodworking sites: "Don't measure. Gauge." Although these and other setup bars don't completely capture the essence of that statement, they give you a nice taste of how you can save time get more accurate, repeatable results by measuring *less*.What I like:easy to use - what used to take 2-5 minutes now takes 5-30 secondscase - guarantees that I'll always put them away and take care of themWhat I don't like:price - they're pretty expensive, at almost $40 for the set of 7versatility - no metric version; bars only come in sizes ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" in 1/16" incrementsIf you haven't used set up bars before, it'll take a couple of uses before you can break out of the usual workflow. Whereas I used to have to measure, adjust, set/tighten, and repeat; now I can just put down the set up bar, make my adjustments, set/tighten (if necessary) with the bar still in place, then put the bar back in its case. It used to take me several minutes to adjust the bit and fence when I measured with a scale or tape measure, and I ended up with somewhat imprecise results. Before, I dreaded having to change an adjustment if I knew I was going to need the current adjustment again later. But now it only takes me a few seconds, and my adjustments are always dead on and easily reproducible. The bars are very easy to handle, with a lot of gripping areas (my fumbling hands haven't dropped one yet), and they're very easy to use. I got used to setting my router's depth pretty quickly, but it wasn't until after a few more rounds of routing that I had to smack myself upside the head for not using them to set the fence. So far, the depth gauge (the hump on the top of the bar) hasn't been very useful to me except for something to grip when pulling out or putting away a bar.Although you might think it would be nice to have additional sizes from 9/16" up to 1", it isn't necessary, because all the bars are exactly 1/4" thick. That means you can stack them to go even beyond 1". For example, if you want to adjust your router bit's cutting depth to 1-1/4", just stack 3 bars on each side (using 6 bars so far) for 3/4", then put the 1/2" bar across the two stacks. Or if you need to set the router fence to 2" from the edge of the bit, just set the first 6 bars side-by-side (for 1-1/2"), then set the 1/2" bar on its side next to the first 6. Of course, you could also stack the bars much more creatively, but the math is really easy if you work in 1/4" increments plus whatever final increment is needed. The case is one of the best features: it guarantees that I always safely put away each bar immediately after using it, and I can always find the one I need when I need it. If you have another Kreg product with the same size case (such as the Kreg Jig Jr), you'll want to label the two cases since they're otherwise indistinguishable when they're closed. The only things I don't like are the price and the somewhat limited versatility. At nearly $40 for the set, the Precision Router Table Set Up Bars are quite expensive, especially when you consider that they are engineered to deteriorate with use (the logic is that you damage the soft aluminum bars instead of your even more expensive blades and bits). For comparison, you could instead get a bunch of keyway keys, gauge blocks, or a basic set of brass set up bars (all basically the same thing) for a fraction of the cost of Kreg's bars.If you work in metric, you need to cut less than 1/8", or you need finer graduations than 1/16", you're out of luck. I'm surprised there isn't a metric version yet, but perhaps that will come if these sell well enough. Maybe anything smaller than 1/8" would have left the little fence adjustment nub too flimsy.Although I somewhat regret not trying keyway keys or some basic square setup bars first, I highly recommend Kreg's set up bars.

Works well
It seems expensive for a bit of plastic, but it saves you lots of time not having to clean up. Before I got this, I would have to clean the jig and drill bit every 3-4 holes, and the area around the jig would accumulate sawdust too and need to be cleaned every few minutes. Drilling each hole also took longer since the drill bit flutes get plugged with sawdust. With this vacuum attachment, there's literally nothing to clean up so you can just focus on your pocket holes. I was amazed that it got literally all the sawdust. This attachment is worth every penny!

Easy to use Router table setup bars.
What can I say about these Kreg precision Router table setup bars that hasn’t been said before, other than echo the views and agree with my fellow Wood Workers. These bars are accurate, sturdy and so easy to use. You can setup your Routing height in no time. It is so simple to use, just straddle the bar over the router insert ring, raise the router to just touch the bar and you are ready to route your stock. It’s as easy as that.Kreg Precision Router table setup bars can save you time and money they are value for money. If you are looking for a quick method for setting up your Router Table cutting height Kreg Precision Router Bars are just what you need.I should say, I am “Roger Old Hat” who likes to work in imperial measurements and therefore Kreg Precision Router bars which are machined in imperial units are ideal for me.Having said that I am not sure if you can buy them in metric units. Finally all I can say in conclusion is that if you are in the market for buying accessories for your Router table setup, Kreg Precision Router Table setup bars are definitely worth considering ( I would go as far as Recommending them as a must have accessory)They are accurate, well machined and easy to use.Good luck, stay healthy, safe and happy wood working.Kind RegardsFix-it MateMake Something.
