Works great in tight spaces

I have many different wire strippers but none that work on ribbon cables easily. This is a good addition to my electrical toolbox. Comfortable grip and versatility for a reasonable price.

I've been looking for a pair of wire strippers like these for a while and finally had a reason to get some- we didn't have the other pair that I had been using for years anymore. These have a different sort of mechanism than the other pair we had, but it works just as well. Decent for the price, materials feel ok, nothing too fancy though. Can't speak to how it holds up over time/repeated use quite yet, but I'm sure I'll find out.

I like simple and effective tools, and this is all of that. I don't love that its 100% plastic, but its action and operation don't introduce much force or stress, so its unlikely to break unless dropped from a height.

I purchased this for my 74 year old Dad who’s an electrician and he LOVES it. He’s talked at least 2 other people into buying themselves one in the week or 2 that he’s had it!

The jaws grab the wire fine but once closed the stripper doesn’t open back up all of the way by itself with the action of the spring.

Well Made Version of a Popular Design...I had one from a different company that cost me twice as much from a local Auto Store..That one worked, for 6 uses before self destruction....It always felt like an over priced, cheaply made, janky tool..This one is well made, the strip length adjustment slide securely locks where you want it, and it weighs twice what my previous, self-destructing model did...Thank you, thank you, thank you!
