It spins with rifling
It is a great tool to clean and load your gun. Because of the spinning action, it takes less resistance to move the bullet or cleaning patches down the barrel. Also reduces possible bullet tip deformation.

NEVER GOING BACK!!! SUB MOA GROUPINGS BECAUSE OF SPIN JAG
I absolutely love Muzzleloaders, and I have been on a mission with my CVA Accura V2 MR to get the best accuracy as possible. But I ran into a snag. Powerbelt's never worked for me, and the best I could get out of the Federal Bore-lock Projectiles as a 1.5 inch grouping at 100 yards. Yes I know that is good, but I really felt my muzzle loader was capable of better numbers. So I was excited when Hornady released their Bore Driver line. But to my dismay.... I started to shoot targets that were key holing.... I was crushed... How the heck was this happening? The bullet was tumbling, so I thought... this has to be due to my loading process. I was using the loading Jag that came with my CVA originally. This led me to finding the Spin-Jag, I felt this would help with loading and was wondering if I was potentially tearing the sabot when trying to seat the bullet with my non rotating jag or was forcing down the rod in the seating process separating the Bullet from it's base.It took me three shots to know I had made the right decision. I had 3 shots touching each other in a 3 leaf clover formation .750 grouping.... SUB MOA from a muzzle loader. LOVE ITI will never go back to not using a spin-jag. Clean up has also been much quicker with fewer patches, I can tell that the rifling gets a much deeper scrub when sending a patch down it as the patch is not tearing across the bore but spinning down the rifling.THANK YOU!!

Finally, a jag that does everything
Prior to this, I had a ramrod with a jag for cleaning and a ramrod with a jag for loading. You would think that one jag that does both would be a simple find, but the Spinjag is the first one I found that actually works. Best of all, it is deep enough that the inside of the head does not tough my tipped Fury bullets. ML is equipment intensive, and now I have one less thing to forget on my next trip to the range or field.

Almost perfect!
Received the SpinJag today. Haven't got a chance to try it out yet, but I love the solid feel of it. The controlled friction on the spin is good. Hopefully it will stay that way for years to come. There is only one complaint on the workmanship. The screw part is bad, looks like a horrible hacksaw job (see pic). I had to do some file work on the end part to make it easier to thread onto the rod. This is not a cheap jag, it's about 3 times the money as non-spinning jag. I wish Gunn Innovations would have paid attention to that one detail. Like I said in the title, it's almost perfect. It would have gotten a rare 5 stars from me if the screw part was nice and beveled.

Spinjag!
This is the perfect addition to my kit. I had to shorten the ramrod to accommodate the length of the spinjag, but not a problem. Works perfectly.

Great Product, Wish I Had Invented It
It works as advertised. Makes loading the sabot easier and my shots do seem to be grouping together with more consistency (subjectively verified only). But the thing I really like is that it is a cleaning jag and conical bullet loader, all in one. It doesn't deform my Hornady SST bullets. So no more having to change out the jag on my ramrod while in the field. Pricey as far a jags go, there is a Traditions jag available that touts doing the same thing but it doesn't look as well made and I don't own one. Failure in the field is a bad thing.
