The Complete Guide to Pruning Trees and Bushes Everything You Need to Know Explained Simply (Back to Basics Growing)

I have a variety of trees and shrubs and no idea how to prune- This book is good but I expected it to have more of the common trees and shrubs like Lilacs, rose of Sharon, black berry/blue berry. There is terminology that assumes the reader knows what the meanings are- I found I had to cross reference on line some of the terminology to figure out what was being said....step by step pictures would have gone a long way. I thought the title "complete guide" implied that's what it was- still, there is some good information and I did manage to find a few trees that I have so, not a total wash.

I expected a little more information on more bushes. They were pretty much lumped into categories instead of entering them separately.

I gave this book as a present which was a hit. He's a fairly new home owner and has fruit trees on his property to maintain.

Not what I expected... to heavy on other than straight "prunning guide". Was loozing for detailed guide with wide range of varieties and diagrams. My flat - my BAD!!

The pictures were not what I'd expected.

Great book. Wish I had it years ago. It would have saved me from making as many mistakes, pruning.

This book has helped me very much. Fantastic!

The pictures and illustrations are not viewable in Kindle. This makes the Kindle edition a waste of money.

I was disappointed with the book when I found that it was American and much of the content would not apply to Britain. It cannot have been very obvious when I looked it up or I would not have ordered it.
