The Beano Annual 2003

The Beano is a great classic and a family tradition for me since I was a small child in England. This edition is no exception, and my 3 children love it!

As a kid I learned to read with these comics and now my own kids are doing the same. They love them.

The Beano Annual has encouraged my dyslexic pupils to read - and to enjoy it. So many children are expected to read full length story books which they find boring because with reading so slowly and with such difficulty they cannot understand the story; they are just reading words. The Beano Annual (or comic) is ideal.

Essential reading for a 10 year old .... well that's what Grandad decided, and he was exactly right. Our Grandson is now well and truly HOOKED !
