OMG!I had started playing Pokemon Go when I realized how incomplete my life was. Served my country, pay taxes, vote, and even have some great kids. Something was just not quite right in the world. My wife attributed it to the beginning of a mid-life crisis, but i simply refused to simply trivialize my angst with some over glorified psycho babble.So one day while reading my monthly subscription of Uncle John's Bathroom Reader it dawned on me! I HAVE NO TOILET BRUSH!!!I immediately yelled to the kids to get my slippers and pipe, and for my wife to make me a sandwich. We were going to the store to get one. To the dismay of the entire family there was nothing worthy of my throne, of which major decisions are made. Even the wife who truly enjoys cleaning up after me stuck her nose in the air at the collection not even worthy of the lowliest commodes.Enter Amazon and the Home Basics Bronze Toilet Brush with Holder!This product has revolutionized not only my life, but my neighbors. Immediately after my first deposit my wife rushed in to try out her new home care product. The seat and bowl have never shined so much. It did such an amazing job I ran around the neighbors showing them my wife's new toilet brush. All the guys were amazed. One guy even sold his truck to get a bunch of them as gifts for this coming Christmas. My wife was so happy with the jealous stairs sent her way from other wives that our sex has never been better. This product is so amazing we even incorporate into our lovemaking on those "experimental" evenings together. The kids are still a bit reluctant but they'll come around.There are some Cons however.Apparently bringing my Home Basics Bronze Toilet Brush with Holder to work reduced productivity so much my boss and HR partnered together to make sure people don't bring their toilet brushes to work either. He did admit he had never seen the toilets in the break room shine and glisten so much before. He even enjoyed using the break room bathroom for the few weeks that initial cleaning lasted!I recommend this product only to those who take their restroom time serious. You know, the ones who go into their tiny office, slowly drink a cup of coffee, and really meditate on the best decisions to make regarding your family and career choices. Otherwise, the vast glory of this toilet brush will be lost. Very advanced brush for the serious player, or those wishing to up and already strong game.

I first bought this about 5 years ago and was immediately pleased with its stylish looks and, more importantly, effective brush cleaning head. It feels like it is giving the toilet bowl a good scrub, and that includes under the rim. The holder is attractive and sturdy enough not to fall over. It has aerating holes to avoid any smells from accumulating. And it holds any drips from the brush in the waterproof bottom of the holder. Only one very slight demerit: the finish has tended to become less shiny over the years. I guess I could try to polish it but, what the heck, it does its job nicely, sits neatly at the back of the toilet, and it's not going to offend anyone. A "can't miss" purchase. (I just bought another one, for an extra bathroom.)

Let's imagine that most of your bathroom fixtures are stainless. You probably want a stainless toilet bowl brush / holder to match, rather than a cheap plastic one. This option is only a little more expensive than the cheap varieties so it looks like a good match! However, it has some design flaws. You might be better off with one of those cheap plastic brushes.PRO:-nice exterior material-brushed finish looks professional in a bathroom, but your interior design choices are personal.-brush holder is self-covering due to the brush design-vented holder lets the brush dry out without getting moldy or worse.CON:-brush handle isn't particularly stiff. It's okay but, I've had better brushes for $4 from the grocery store.-brush bristles aren't particularly durable. They work, but, they'll flatten out with use.-brush shape/contour isn't ideal for some common toilet bowl configurations, and won't reach every little nook by the drain.-price considering the above seems a little high. While not in use, this appears like a premium product, but functionally, it's not great.If you frame this as a 'set piece' within your bathroom, which sees infrequent use, then it is fine. But it won't do as good a job as many alternatives. And it probably won't last forever.

OK, I didn't buy this for the brush and holder use. I bought this as attractive means to have a "toilet wiping aid" at the ready in the bathroom. And the holder is exceptional well-suited for that use! It's well-made of quality materials, and quite attractive in use. In fact, the button on the end of the brush handle makes a perfect "handle" for the top (detached from brush) for the holder base. And the liner cup makes sure the wiping aid stays clean and free from any residue. And as a bonus, I get a nice toilet bowl brush too! Win-win!

The bad:✫It may be "stainless steel" but since it's magnetic its going to be 400 series stainless a.k.a. NOT rust proof.✫Very thin metal. About as thin and as easy to dent as a soda can.✫While he scrub head "can" be removed and replaced, most replacement heads sold are "female" and not "male" ends like this one is. But, given other reviews, the head will probably outlast the canister anyway so it really doesn't matter.The good:✫It looks good, it's economical, and the brush is nice and stiff.✫I'm not holding out a lot of hope for its longevity though so I'll be keeping my eye out for a better version.

I've had this toilet brush caddy for 2 years. It looked great for awhile and then it got rusty. I just came back to my orders because I wanted to see if it was Stainless Steel as I thought it was. The description says "Stainless Steel Handle" Ohhhh. I was a bit annoyed, but I really didn't pay very much for this. Before ordering a new one, I decided to see if I could clean the rust off. (Thank you Google and YouTube.) I found out that Bar Keepers Friend will take the rust off of this. 5 minutes, Bar Keepers Friend and a scrub brush and it looks like new!

My mother really wanted this so I purchased for her. I know the silver leaves finger prints and dust but she says it is worth it as it is so pretty so as long as she is happy and I am not the one cleaning it Im good LOL

This product is very nice, but a piece at the bottom broke (probably during shipping). We decided to keep it and just hide that side against the wall.
