Resource Beneprotein Powder 8oz Can by Nestle Nutritional

Needed to add protein for a family member but also needed a product without an off-putting taste. So far, this is working great. Easy to add to drinks, smoothies, soups, etc.

This is a wonderful way to add protein to my elderly Dad's diet. He needs good nutrition, and he needs to gain some weight. This mixes better than you would think in applesauce--it absorbs completely and is tasteless. The hospital recommended it, and he has gained 4.4 lbs in a week! It's not all because of this product, but I think it is a huge factor. Price is important, so I bought it on Amazon Prime and it was the best price I found.

Trying to get more protein into older adult who does not like the nutritional "shakes" (Ensure, Glucerna). Can't put it in hot things. If you put it into other liquids (I'd recommend milk or juice) and SHAKE it (not stir) it blends well. Mixes well in clear Jello if you stir it into Jello powder then add water. Makes the Jello cloudy - alters texture and taste slightly.

I use this for my 8 year old son who has eating issues. It was recommended by a dietitian. It has a slight flavor, even though it says unflavored, but it is pleasant. It mixes very well and doesn't leave grainy residue like some protein powders do (as long as you don't add an enormous amount).

It was used to combat fatigue.

My mother is a cancer patient. Her eating has been very poor of late. Her doctor suggested this product. My mother is picky person and very sensitive ( notices ANY changes ) eater. This product defiantly has a taste when added to some foods or drink. This product smells bad when applied to food however the food taste doesn't change much. It can also leave little hard pieces in certain foods.Below some thing we tried it n and the results:* Hot oatmeal ~ It disappears in oatmeal almost unnoticeable. You can smell it slightly but taste pretty normal.* Hot chicken broth~ It doesn't dissolve well at all and leaves white hard pieces in soup. I tried adding to bowl first and adding a little broth at a time ...no luck . Not for soup.,* Strawberry milkshake ~ Perfect application goes unnoticed* Strawberry banana smoothie ~ Perfect application goes unnoticed* Hot white rice with a pat of butter.and spoonful of sugar ~ You can smell it but does not change taste much.* Rice pudding ~ Perfect application goes unnoticed.It only provides 6 grams of protein and 25 calories per serving. I switched to the Benecalorire cups. Those provide 330 calories and 7 grams protein.

I mix this in with my coffee as well as in smoothies to increase my protein intake while going through chemo. It doesn’t change the taste of the coffee and almost all of it mixes in. It also doesn’t have that weird whey smell which is important to me as my sense of smell has been heightened by my treatment and can very quickly make me not want to eat anything.

My daughter's registered dietitian prescribed beneprotein to my daughter to help her with her nutritional needs. I couldn't find it anywhere locally. Fortunately I was able to get it at a fair price, fast and easily through you guys! Thanks.
