GREAT speaker!
This speaker is awesome and I am very happy after trying a couple of other brands for bluetooth speakers.Weight: It is very light. I bought another waterproof speaker before this one and it weighs twice as much.Waterproof: I did not dunk the speaker under water but I did use it in the shower and it had no problems being splashed. It seems to be waterproof as described.Style: I really like the style, it's very modern and fun to hold and look at. The rubber webbing that makes the case around it looks cool and it also is screwed in very securely with little screws rather than just being halfway molded to the side.Sound Quality: I'm pretty picky about my sound quality. I don't buy super high end audio equipment, but I can't stand cheap sound either. It has to be rich and full sounding and this one really is. And it actually gets loud enough. I use it in the car (because my bluetooth connection in the car is spotty) and I can hear it well with the windows down and the wind coming in. The other speaker I got I had to roll the windows up to hear the speaker even at full volume.Solar: Almost as an added bonus is the solar panel on top. I did not get the speaker only for this reason but I'm finding that I really love having it. I let the battery run down and instead of charging with the cable, I just used the sunlight, and after about 20 minutes in the sun, I was able to keep using the speaker for another whole day!I highly recommend this, it's great.

Good Speaker Great Customer Service
I got this speaker to leave by the hot tub. I got an old iphone with a waterproof case to connect to it. I've read other reviews saying the range is short. That may be true, but it may also be a function of your phone. Bluetooth can be fiddly. I always just leave our dedicated hot tub phone next to the speaker so it hasn't been an issue for me. The sound quality is pretty good. I wouldn't expect a speaker that size to be super loud, but for our hot tub needs it's more than enough. It's convenient that the speaker can charge the phone. We had a big rainstorm and the speaker stopped working and I was past the return window, but I thought I'd try contacting them and they were actually very prompt to send me a new one. If you're on the fence about this one, I'd say go for it.

Charging port didn’t work, out of the box, nor any of the recepticols on the device.
I’ve had one before, and it was great. However, not only did the new one I order come without any ability to recieve or put out a charge, due to all the ports being defective, but now it has decided to no longer turn on. I've been striving to get a replacement because I loved the first one, but this company has clearly lost sight of the value it once produced in exchange for monetary gain.I've further, been string along, iny attempt to recieve a replacement for months now, under the guide that for whatever reason, they just can't seem to deliver it to the post office the first one arrived at. Sadly, I must highly recommend any other solar charger, and company which produces them.

Actually works off the sun
Solar charge works great in s Arizona bass quality good for the size have it strapped to the side of my pool and ther it will stay until the end of summer, will report back and let you know if it survived. Low battery warning comes on at sunset. I guess there is a threshold between battery operation and solar operation and if your listening at the right time of day or traveling in and out of shadow you might hear the low battery warming and think that it some how didn’t fully charge but it has you can flip it over so the solar cells are not receiving any light or cover them with something, this forces it to switch over to battery and you can enjoy listening with out the low battery alert.

Great go to speaker when power is an issue.
I have a greenhouse in my back yard. I go out there daily to work. I leave this little speaker in a sunny spot near the fans so it doesn't get to hot and I can listen to my music or podcasts every day. I'm usually out there for two hours or less, but I've never had to charge this speaker. The sound is loud enough that I can hear it throughout the greenhouse, but if I want better volume, I just carry it with me when I move from one end of the 100ft green house to the other. Granted, the greenhouse echoes quite a bit, and I am no audio file, but the sound is plenty good enough to keep me entertained while I work with plants and fish.

It's fine. Died at 2.5 yrs
I liked this little thing well enough. Just shy of 2.5 years in it has crapped out, which is I guess "fine" for today's products/expectations, but I am trying to avoid buying "pre-trash" as much as possible these days and have definitely seen portable speakers that take a beating and last for many years, so I can't say I endorse it.Otherwise, the solar function seemed pretty good. If you leave it in a sunny place and only use it occasionally for short periods then you could theoretically never plug it in. But if/when it does run out of batteries you basically have to charge it at the wall or else it might take days.User experience - it's hard to distinguish the buttons without close inspection, and for whatever reason the + button skips to the next song with a tap and you have to hold it down to increase the volume, which is confusing and contrary to the design of most other speakers. Pairing was never a problem. It also does this super annoying thing where if you're playing off of it and then leave with your phone (i.e. drop the connection without formally disconnecting or turning it off) it will beep annoyingly until someone comes to turn it off. Like, why?

Awesome sounds
This is a great speaker! Lasts long on charge, pairs easy with phone, volume is great! Love that it can charge in the sun while on the beach! Very happy with it.

Great solar powered speaker
This is a great solar powered speaker. The sound is great and I love that it also doubles as a flashlight. Unfortunately, the first speaker we received stopped charging a little over a month later, but the company replaced it for me even after the Amazon return window closed which was great.
