I think there could have been more pictures especially into the pattern sections but there was a wealth of information about jewelry making I had not considered.

Very good book. It offers explanations of not only materials used to make jewelry but the tools and how they are used. You have to wait until chapter 5 before you actually get to the jewelry making itself however. There are tips here to design your own jewelry and even suggestions on what things to look out for, such as observations of nature and the world around you. For the actual projects, there is a detailed list of supplies needed and step by step instructions. Well worth a look.

This is a solid introduction to making costume jewelry. I was surprised how straight forward it was. It Has a nice selection of starter projects for different pieces and even a few images to illustrate what's being referred to. Most reference books about this subject tend to be condescending, assume the reader is already an expert, or rambles on with useless filler.

Liked the book but in the book she states see picture below and there is no picture. Also on next project there also are not any pictures. I learn by site so need to see pictures with each step. Other than the fact of lack of pictures for all projects the book was informative.

I really like the first half of this book. It contains some very good info for beginners. Some of it I learned only from experience. Not a bad read if you are new to the whole business of jewelry making.

Lots of good pictures and step by step instructions for the beginner. Would have liked it if the book were spiral bound, to make it easier to follow the instructions as you were making the piece.

don't remember receiving this yet. So I can't really say anything about it yet. But I'm sure that if I got it, it will come to good use in helping me make jewelry.

It just doesn't layout nicely on the Kindle -- the pictures don't stay with the related text. Could also use more step-by-step pictures. Still, got some good information from the book.

Sembrava un libro di suggerimenti con qualche progettino da realizzare, invece è proprio l'ABC, anzi forse alla C non arriva. Se proprio siete agli inizi, altrimenti lasciatelo lì. Peccato, perché era anche ben "confezionato" per il kindle, cosa non facile per manuali illustrati.

This book is made for & is ideal, for a beginner, as it clearly details the basics needed to begin and grow in your first year , what you need, why , and what you can do in your creative endeavours . But not to an middle range to advanced jewellery maker.
