Ms Nichols has done an excellent job here. Great for anyone interested in Alice in Wonderland.

This is a great and comprehensive look at the history and legacy of Alice In Wonderland. The book compiles a fun visual history of the different interpretations of this classic story and provides an interesting context for each era. It's a lot of fun and perfect for any Alice fan.

Wow!I admit to being a latecomer to Alice In Wonderland. I always loved the story, but didn't know that much about it beyond that. I've never seen the Disney movie, never knew about other adaptations, etc. This book takes care of that! Very in-depth...you'll discover a lot about how the book was written (did you know this year is the 150th anniversary?), the movies, other adaptations, TV, basically, all-things Alice! And of course, visually, its amazing!

A must have for any Alice fan out there! Stunning visuals and truly interesting facts make this a truly fun read. Great for children and adults!

While this book has some great facts and information, I thought it'd be more focused around the illustrations over the years. This book relegates the illustrations to one chapter and doesn't even show the illuatrators work extensively - basically just one picture per illustrator. I was really looking forward to seeing the different artistic interpretations over the years and this book just didn't really deliver on that.Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it, but I would have enjoyed it more if they had focused more on the various illustrations throughout the years.
