I have been a devotee of Lifeproof since I got my first iPhone, ten years ago. Between total klutziness and an autoimmune disease that has damaged my fingers and the nerves in my hands, I drop my phone. A lot. It’s sometimes a several-times-a-day occurrence. With the cost of phones and the fact that I typically keep them for at least three years, I figured I needed Lifeproof so my phone could be me-proof. Well, I’m almost to the point where I need a new phone, and my Lifeproof case was coming apart (after three years, which is legit). I didn’t want to shell out a ton of money for a case that will be moot in three or four months, when I get the new phone. This got good reviews, and I figured I could return it if it was terrible. Much to my surprise, I like it even better than my Lifeproof!! I like the dial instead of the toggle cover where to turn sound on and off. I like the feel and sturdiness of the covers to the volume buttons and the button on the right (what the heck is that called? Is it the power button?). The screen cover portion is perfect and registers my touch and fingerprint perfectly. It’s waterproof, so when I’m washing my face or hands and splash/drip some water, I don’t have to panic. The only two things I preferred with the Lifeproof are 1) the cover of the charger port, which seems to me it will eventually break off and is kind of annoying to hold out of the way as I’m plugging in the charger, and 2) the material that comprises the raised portions (to keep it from touching surfaces, which also gives it a place to grip) is a fairly hard plastic-y material, instead of a more rubberized material. It is a bit more grippy than perfectly smooth plastic, but the Lifeproof one was so much easier to keep in my hands. As I mentioned, I have a lot of issues with my hands. Normal people probably wouldn’t even notice this feature, but if your grip strength is subpar for whatever reason and you find the phone keeps slipping out of your hands, a Lifeproof or Otterbox with their rubberized material may be worth it for you. I’ve only had this a little over a week, so I can’t yet speak to the durability over the long haul, but I definitely recommend this case and, if all their cases are like this, the brand in general. I’m strongly considering getting one of these to fit the iPhone I purchase this fall.

Great phone case. I have had lifeproof, and otterbox. This case is just as good maybe better, at a much nicer price point.

This was a cute case when I had this phone.

I like this case very much. It feels like it really adds up to almost as much protection as a life proof case, but at a fraction of the cost. I recently replaced it because it had 2 cracks in the hard shell from two different drops. iPhone was just fine inside. I just wish there was one for iPhone 4/5/SE 1st Gen for one of our other phones.

I’m so tired of companies advertising phone cases as super protective when they’re not at all. As a person who unfortunately manages to drop my phone a lot on hard surfaces I just want to be able to clearly discern if a case will suit my needs or not. I was excited about this case and loved the colors. My other phone case finally came apart last week and so I started the search for a really protective case that also wasn’t so heavy that it would render my magnet holders useless. The types of cases that have the plastic layer that click together over the front and the back and then a rubber/silicone cover goes over that to secure everything and create a strong bumper are great for my needs, but they do add a fair bit of bulk to the already large phone which makes it fall from magnet holders and not fit into pockets. However, those cases work in terms of sturdiness and protection against drops. I was so disappointed to open the box for this case and be met with two extremely thin and brittle pieces of plastic for the case. That’s not what the pictures or the description outline at all and I’m pretty upset about it. Now I have to waste more time returning this one and waiting again for a case to arrive. I should have just ordered one of the cases I know would work despite adding some additional bulk. So annoyed! Stop advertising cases as sturdy or protective against drops when they’re not at all!

The case worked great for the first month. It finally started taking on water from the front screen protector losing its seal. Luckily I used a water proof bag along with the case.

Very happy - nice & tight installation.No issues in the rain riding the motorcycle (with the charge port closed of course).Speaker volume a tad muffled because it's covered - as expected.I just use bluetooth anyway.Reasonable price.Highly recommended.

I received the item quickly, and at first glance, it seemed good value for the money. However, two months into average usage, the screen protector disconnected from the phone's frame, so now the case is garbage...just after the return window. I am not happy!

I returned this case as it is too big for my iPhone 8. I want a replacement or the refund. It’s almost 15 days since I returned. But no news
