Great for carryon
I purchased this Rockland 22" duffel bag, and two others, with wheels because I have had a good experience with them. My previous 3 Rockland 22" duffel bags were purchased elsewhere in 2018. Those bags were checked 4 times and held up perfect each time. We typical travel with JetBlue and use them as our carryon with no issues but when they ask if anyone would like to check their bags for free due to limited space, we check ours..The wheels are pretty good and held up well. IF you are trying to run your bag may wobble a little and tip. Otherwise pulling them around has not been an issue. I have however noticed the wheels on this new bag are a little beefier then the older bags I owned. Which again worked great for me and my kids. After 2 cruises (flights to and from), 5 flights to and from the Dominican Republic, and several car trips around the states the inside material of the bag was starting to shed little pieces. I probably would have used them a few more times because the pieces were so tiny and it was just starting to happen but our last trip involved a stay that had cockroaches so I decided to toss all our luggage from that trip. Unfortunately, something that can happen in tropical climates.I am able to pack enough clothes, and extra pair of shoes and flip flops for a 7 day trip in the bag. I have larger suitcases but for how much it cost to check bags ($35.00), purchasing these again was a no brainer. I recently have been introduced to the use of vacuum seal bags when traveling. So I am sure I will be able to fit even more.CON: The only down side is when you are waiting in line most of us don't push the telescopic bar in and lay the bag down each time you move so the end of the bag with the wheels takes a bit of a beating and that is where the inside will start to fall apart.

Great carryon luggage
I gave this bag 4 stars because it does not have spinner wheels as advertised Rockland Melbourne Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel Luggage. It is very roomy and expandable, I used it to fly across country to FL in Sept 2024 and had no problem taking it as carryon luggage on Southwest Airlines, it fits perfectly in the overhead bins. However, I would not put anything sharp against the soft side of the bag, it could poke through very easily, the fabric is a soft polyester. I do wish it had spinner wheels though, it tends to tilt to side if you're in a hurry & it doesn't stand upright by itself, you have to pull it behind you not alongside like spinner wheel luggage. Other than the wheels issue, it's a very nice piece of luggage and good value for the price.

Worked great for my cruise.
The 30" bag was perfect for my cruise. It also had the best price with the biggest discount. I would not have wanted anything bigger for the cruise. It held up to the roughness of the cargo team throwing the bag on the luggage cart and putting other bags on top. Nothing tore or broke. I used a zip tie to secure the two main zippers together on the way there, but I did not pack extra zip ties for the trip home. The zippers stayed in place. The bag is soft and collapsible, so you have to use the handle and hold it upright on the wheels. Once you let go, it will go limp or fall over. I followed the advice of the person who said he lined the inside with cardboard. I also bought an inexpensive set of luggage cubes to keep my garments secure and organized. One set of luggage cubes and one large shoe box filled the bag perfectly. I would not advise going larger than 30". I could barely carry the 30" bag up the stairs when I chose to skip the mile long line at the elevators at the cruise port.
