Bajadera come individually wrapped in foil with a distinctive gold and yellow design. The top and bottom are a thin layer of milk chocolate. The middle layer is a creamy hazelnut filling. Product of Croatia.

croatia with go ahead tours-Tamara
Just got back from a wonderful tour with go ahead tours in croatia/slovenia. Our amazing tour director Tamara shared this wonderful decadent treat. I enjoy the richness with not being so sweet. Everyone in our group(40 americans) bought this treat at their local grocery stores.. I am ordering more because my luggage was so small. so glad to see that i can order more. Definitely a great representive of Croatia!!!

Excellent Chocolate
I have not ordered these yet - they are too good. My husband and I ate at a Croation restaurant in Astoria OR called The Drina Daisy recently. After our meal - which was amazing - the chef/owner brought us out a box of the Bajadera Nougat Dessert as we were leaving. The chocoIate is verrrry good and not too sweet - just right. I would not hesitate to buy this item, but not now since I am trying to lose weight.
