An Honest First Person Account Of 45 Plus Years Investigating The Execution Of President Kennedy
I would agree that the late James Tague could have used a proof reader and an editor. There is a tremendous amount of redundancy in this book. However he makes it clear that he wanted to write the book and impart his first hand knowledge about what he discovered during his decades of research with the late Harold Weisberg. The book contains excellent research that has been substantiated by many other researchers. The two shells discovered instead of three as promulgated by the lame stream media is significant. As is the unguarded back doors to the TSBD, confirmed in the excellent book The Girl On The Stairs by author Barry Ernest. Victoria Adams was an eyewitness to the aftermath of the deluge of bullets when she exited her office with two colleagues and went down the stairs that LHO allegedly used after firing three shots from the so called "Snipers Nest". Victoria's testimony was altered and it took Barry decades to find her and substantiate her story. It was proven impossible that LHO used these steps to get to the first or second floors from the sixth floor. The loss of electricity and telephones following the shooting has been substantiated by many researchers. The alteration of testimony and the reckless ignoring of important first hand eye witnesses is also undisputed. The "Johnson Commission" cover-up is not in question. The story of the impoverished Lawrence Loy Factor, expert marksman is very believable. Having read over a dozen excellent books about Johnson and his abuse of power, thief of millions of dollars of taxpayer treasury, his affiliation with mobsters, oil billionaires, his duplicitous conduct with the military and CIA personnel to sabotage President Kennedy's foreign affair decisions has been well documented. The psychopathic Johnson's murderous rise to power and his use of murder to stay in power is indisputable. Johnson was a bi-polar alcoholic, hospitalized a number of times for both conditions. His debauchery has been well documented by serious researchers. His uncouth outrageous conduct has been substantiated repeatedly. No doubt he would have been without office and may have been incarcerated for his involvement with Bobby Baker and Billy Sol Estes had President Kennedy lived. His involvement with the TFX scandal is well documented. Johnson was on the verge of implosion when JFK was executed. Not surprising, the investigations against Johnson were discontinued once he became President. His good friend J. Edgar Hoover was the director of the cover-up, declaring within hours that Oswald was the trigger man and without conspirators. An obvious lie. Oswald had not even been charged and the investigation had hardly began when Hoover announced the guilt of Oswald,I would have given this five stars were it not for the naive belief of Mr.Tague with respect to Jack Ruby. It is beyond incomprehensible that he believed that Ruby was not owned by the leaders of the mob, for whom he worked throughout his life and that Ruby executed LHO on a personal concern for the late Mrs. Kennedy. That ship sailed decades ago and no one believes that Ruby murdered Oswald out of altruistic feelings for the family of President Kennedy. Ruby stalked Oswald for the entire time he was incarcerated by the DPD. I just do not understand how Mr.Tague truly believed that a known mobster going back to the forties committed the murder of Oswald spontaneously without orders from those connected to the conspiracy. Ruby's movements, conduct and actions following the execution of President Kennedy in relation to Oswald has been well documented by many researchers over the years. In summary this book is full of factual details about the public execution and the coup d'etat on November 22, 1963 to warrant the reading of it. I have read several hundred books and own dozens of DVDs on the execution of President Kennedy. Mr. Tague has added some excellent new details that add to case for conspiracy and Johnson's involvement in the murder of President Kennedy. I would highly recommend this book, with the caveat that it could have been a five star book with an editor and proof reader as well as an enlightened honest investigation of Jack Ruby's real motive in murdering Oswald.Stephen CourtsMay 3, 2014

A more authoritative book about JFK’s assassination will never be written
When, as a young aerospace engineer, I heard that JFK had been assassinated, my first thought was that Lyndon Johnson had killed President Kennedy. At this late date, I can’t recall why I thought that. But this book more than proves it beyond any reasonable doubt, and shows that the KGB knew it all along.Recently, a friend renewed my interest in the assassination. But, after reading more than twenty books on the subject, I was fairly well convinced that there wasn’t much more to learn; but it seemed that with each book I read I learned a bit more about the killing and about the people involved than I’d known before. So, I kept searching for more books to read. But this book’s title turned me off, specifically ‘By eyewitness James T. Tague’. What, I thought, could someone who just happened to be there tell me that I didn’t already know? Boy was I wrong. The author’s being there was just the beginning; the beginning of a forty-year quest to learn the truth about what really happened that day, who was behind it and why, and who, in fact, pulled the trigger from the School Book Depository. For those who don’t know: this author’s being struck in the face by fragments of concrete resulting from a ‘FOURTH’ bullet fired that day, his not being called to testify to the Warren Commission, and his late arrival on the scene, resulted in the unbelievable ‘magic bullet’ theory concocted by Arlen Specter and Gerald Ford; since, if a fourth shot was fired, Lee Harvey Oswald couldn’t have been the ‘lone nut’ assassin as J. Edgar Hoover claimed he was. There had to be at least one additional shooter and, therefore, a conspiracy.Starting in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963, this book continues on in chronological order, with all facts being substantiated and verified. It’s an easy read and hard to put down.If I was new to this subject and only intended to read one book, this is the it. As a matter of fact, I’ve almost concluded that there is no need for me to read any more books. There’s little left to learn, mostly concerning who the other shooters were. And, I doubt that that will ever be known.I only wish that every American would read this book, and while reading it, would keep in mind the corruption that now exists in Washington D.C. For, in my view, those who now perpetuate that corruption in Politics, the FBI and the CIA, are the dishonest morally bankrupt intellectual descendants of those who killed John F. Kennedy. For, that’s where it all began. And, you might want to say a prayer for Donald Trump.

Interesting Take
James Tague was one of the injured parties during the JFK assassination.Over the years, information has dropped in his lap regarding how the assassination was carried out and who were the primary people behind the plan.Mr. Tague had the good fortune to meet and befriend researcher Harold Weisberg who was an expert researcher behind the JFK event. Therefore Mr. Tague received some solid information from Mr. Weisberg and others closely connected to the case who opened up to him freely because he was a minor injury victim who threw a monkey wrench into the Warren Commission findings.I think the author tried to connect all the dots to bring the case into focus. Some items were repeated throughout the book. However that does not lessen the books impact.I found a lot of the information was similar to Barr McClelland’s book “ Blood Money and Power. While Mr. Tague’s book paints Lee Oswald as a true patsy, it did not nail down the grassy knoll shot which is important if you have see the various Zapruder films. An interesting book from an interesting witness to history. The information can be filed to the reader’s memory to compare with information from other sources.Bottom line: we are almost 60 years after the fact and are still sorting out plans and theories.Good effort by the author..

A rare eye-witness assessment of the evidence, completely up to date.
I have read dozens of books on this subject, this is one of the best. Yes, a bit repetitive at times, but the repeated points are the important ones. Written from the unique perspective of an eye-witness account, with a lifetime of follow-up investigation, research, and collation of the evidence. Factual and straightforward, this is a great read for anyone interested in the JFK murder.

Tague is really a Texan, including having a relatively conservative point of view, but even so he could tell the fix was in and rightfully raised a stink about it. I clearly differ from him politically, but I have to give him credit for trying to speak truth to power.

James Tague was grazed on the face in Dealey Plaza on Nov 22, 1963 by a bullet meant for JFK.
An easy book to read on the JFK assassination. James Tague writes it in an expressive and very personal way. By telling the truth about what happened to him on Nov 22, 1963, he was persecuted by elements of the government and one could infer from his tale that he was disappointed about that but, nevertheless, his belief that one must be honest and truthful compensated him in some way.
