Not what I expected
My nieces are starting their own home business and I promised them a nice safe to keep their cash in and I thought this was perfect. The problem I have was the inside of the case was not secured and firm but felt like cardboard molded and fitted into the box. It was easy to lock but the lock did not seem firm enough and it was more of a cute box and not a real safe that is reliable.

Glad I took a chance on this!
I was hesitant about ordering this because there were no consumer ratings. Boy am I glad I did not let that stop me in the end. Sturdy, large enough, and the lid closes even when not locked. I love this. I use it for important things and personal items. I wanted wood but could not find anything large enough for my needs. I am proud to be the first to review this and tell you it was a good deal, better than I anticipated. Solid, large and attractive.
