Hubby loves it
Bought for Father's Day. Even though he has navigation on the bike, he wanted something like this. He put his directions on index cards and off he went! He said it was comfortable and was exactly what he needed.

It works
Very useful for military operations. Blends well and is water resistant. The Velcro doesn't stay when running, so you may have to supplement with a rubber band if you don't want it swinging in the wind. Good for when you can't remember your 9 lines

Depends on Use, but Not Great
I guess if you're a static long range shooter/sniper I guess this could work.But overall, it's very awkwardly sized. It doesn't conform to your arm much, and it's big...so you have this big flat panel attached to your forearm. So if you're doing movement or CQB, it feels odd. I'm not a small dude at all, 6/2, 225lbs. It looks bulky on ME.It only has two small strips of Velcro to keep the flap closed. Once I dropped a china marker into the interior pen holder, it didn't close all that well and I could see the loop portion of the Velcro not lasting very long at all.A china marker/grease pen will write on it, if pressed hard and not wet. Can wipe it off easily but it won't smear off if you bump it.Need an option with no flap....just 1 single clear panel for those that may not need 3 different windows.

//WATER BOTTLE IS FOR COMPARISON// The OCP pattern is spot on. Some products are slightly darker or lighter when ordering from Amazon. This product feels durable, it is also possible to write on with a dry erase. The adjustable slide tabs are highly secured and aren’t going anywhere.My only issue with this product is that it doesn’t conform to the forearm very much. It looks kind of bulky, but as a fellow service member, we all know of the saying that goes something as such, “adapt and overcome.” Chase your dreams, homies.
