Ideal size but ends need thinning a bit.

These are great irons, they don't bend like my old set which got returned. I used them to remove my motorcycle tires which are pretty difficult because they're skinny and have little room to bend. Heating the rubber up with a heatgun did help a bit.These irons have no comfort though. They're cold and dull against your hands. When you're pushing on them like you do, you'll get bruises so wear gloves.

Read the reviews. Looked at the ones with screwdriver handles but was put off by the reviews of bending. Decided on these for half the price of the others. Drop forged and have a great finish. I used them to remove and replace tyres on my Yamaha TDR250. Old tyres were at least 20 years old and hard as hell but these managed no problem. Very slender but strong taper to one end and a small hook to the other that grabs the bead of the tyre allowing you to leave the inner tube intact. Used a small piece of leather between the lever and rim. Trust me, I had a lot of force on these and no bending. Had both wheels done in less than 30 mins. My first review. I had to to let others know how good these are. Buy them.
