Does the job
This part is not a perfect fit replacement for my boiler, but it works and it was very easy to fit - it just snaps into place with no wiring required. Saved me an expensive repair callout

Vaillant products = 👎 Vaillant warranty = 👎 Vaillant Customer Service = 👎
Since I had my Vaillant boiler installed several years ago, it has had various minor (but costly) problems - of course, they all developed outside the warranty period. One of the main (most irritating) recurring problems is with the mechanical 150 timeswitch, which I have had to replace no less than 3 x times; none of them were covered by Vaillant's pitiful 1-year warranty. In monetary terms, that is basically 3 x £70.00 (£70.00 is the average cost of 1 x new replacement) so I've had to fork out £210.00, just on replacing the timer alone, within the space of 4 years. What is important to note (especially for any prospective Vaillant purchasers) is that the previous Vaillant 150 timeswitch I had to replace was purchased in March 2022. It then had no use whatsoever until the middle of October 2022, when it was in use until early March 2023; which equates to just over 4 months of useage, when the timer was set to go on/off just three times per day. And then it failed to keep the correct time - and is therefore defunct & useless. Vaillant have refused to honor any warranty, despite the fact I've told them it's the third one in 4 years & had very limited use.- is this expenditure what Vaillant consider to be value for money for their customers?!This recurring fault with the 150 timeswitch (it stops keeping time) is also, apparently, a known one, according to my trustworthy Corgi-registered Gas engineer. If so, why do Vaillant not address the issue? Well, because they make a lot of extra money out of these failing devices, obviously. If they made decent quality boilers with built-in, reliable, timers in the first instance, surely they would not be designed to be replaced? But, if Vaillant designed them with in-built fail... ah, now that's an opportunity to bring in more cash for Vaillant fat-cats. Right. And, if you're ever unfortunate enough to be in need of contacting Vaillant customer services here in rip-off UK, be warned, & be prepared for some of the lousiest customer service you can imagine. They send out repetitive, non-personalised, email responses, which are quite obviously either generated by A.I. or, sent by someone who has possibly been lobotomised. If you attempt to call them (as they keep telling you to do in aforementioned email replies) you can expect waits on the phone of 30 minutes, or longer, whilst an irritating voice rattles in your ear constantly about how 'great' Vaillant boilers & heat pumps are - oh, really? - I'd be surprised if they don't use this particular method in Guantanomo Bay; I lasted 30 minutes, does that mean I should apply to be on SAS Who Dares Wins?Final summary: Vaillant, you produce rubbish products & your warranties are useless (in 2016 Vaillant scrapped its 'free' extended warranties for new customers - does this give you an idea of their policies?) and I have decided I will not ever buy another Vaillant product, boiler or heat pump. If you're reading this, then I would strongly suggest you look to other manufacturers instead of Vaillant.

Quick and easy was to fix a stuck timer switch
Once I saw my timer switch had stopped turning around I checked YouTube and found a video of somebody swapping out the old timer for a replacement. It's quick and easy. If you can wire a plug you are overqualified. I'm happy the boiler is designed to make it easy to swap out this part without having to call out an expensive plumber.
