ZillaReptile Habitat Décor Hideouts Stump Den, Small

I got this for my leopard gecko. Overall I am happy with it, and how it looks. It is one of the taller "medium" structures at around 7" tall. There are some things I think a buyer needs to know however: To use in my tank, I certainly *needed* to get out a roll of sand paper, and remove some sharp edges around the inside of each of the three entrance holes. Also in the "branch" and elsewhere inside, there were lumps in the plastic (resin?) that were quite sharp. Also, if you are someone who is super finicky about the "realness" of your decor, this might not be for you, as the top of my stump looks like someone painted two light-brown circles on it, to look like the "rings" of the stump. Doesn't bother me, but might bother some. Considering these things together with the price was why I gave 4/5 stars.

The snakes loved this stump till they were too big to enjoy it. They will wedge themselves up in it though and not want to come out to play. They always settled in after eating, or when getting ready to shed (we kept it on the hot side of the tank). They loved to hang out on top of it once the light levels were low, though sometimes they would bask under the warming element whatever time of day.

Much larger than I actually needed for my leopard gecko, but nice and well-constructed. I’m going to give it to someone who has a bigger reptile since it dwarfs my little gecko and she prefers the cozier hides, though. The plastic is textured so that reptile claws can get a good grip, but I didn’t notice any major rough edges or safety concerns. Very roomy inside, plenty of space to turn around or curl up for a reptile.

Bought this for my baby corn snake and he loves it! He spends ALL day in it poking his little head out of the side watching me.He also likes to curl up in the inside of it and just sit there, I think it makes him feel safe.This is a really good hide for baby snakes or any small reptile, would buy again :)(The small is small though, the holes are a bit smaller than a ping pong ball. Keep that in-mind if you have a larger reptile.)

Smaller than I thought but still great. My Five-Lined Skinks love it and prefer it as their den to even the moss ball hide I bought them.

Like other have noted there are a lot of sharp edges that need to be filed down before use. My corn snake loves this thing. I can always find her curled up inside of it.

Bought this for my young ball python. Buried it down in the substrate so it looks like an actual tree stump. She spends a majority of her time inside. Not very large however so not sure how much longer she will be able to fit inside.

Perfect product
