Beautiful paintings from a very talented artist. I will look at these paintings to tide me over until my next visit to the Caribbean.

very poor quality prints - picture quality is horrible and really hides the true talents of the artist

Having lived in Saint Lucia myself, I bought this book for the memories. Jonathan's paintings instantly bring me back to the beauty and culture I learned to love. He captures the grand scenery of mountain & ocean as well as the tiniest details like the intricate braids and vivid plaids of the schoolgirls. I also love the commentary that adds background info for many of the paintings and the illustrations that show a painting 'in progress' so you can see how he creates these wonderful paintings.

This artist is amazing.

A good depiction of life in the Caribbean brought back childhood memories. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan on our recent visit to St Lucia - he is such a talented artist who captures his subjects essence. The detail is stunning & his love for St Lucia and her people is our gift .. I love his paintings ! This book is a lovely collection of his art.
