Metal Masquerade Mask for Women with Rhinestones - Half Face Womens Phantom of The Opera Mask for Mardi Gras, Prom & Venetian

I ordered the black masque with blue stones. Shipping was very fast; only took 2 days for me to get it. I had no problems with ordering or receiving it. However, when I opened it, the mask was so bent out of shape it took me about half an hour to make it wearable. It must have been packaged that way, because the box it came in was perfectly intact. I got it to fit nicely on my face, but one of the stones digs into my forehead, so I will need to get some kind of padding for it. All the gemstones have pointy bottoms. It would be a better masque if the gems were flat. But, as I said, only one digs into my skin, so I can make it work. These are the only problems I have with the masque. Otherwise, it's very beautiful and I look forward to wearing it :)

Since this is a metal mask, it will hold the form you shape it to, but be careful not to sit on it or leave it down where small inquisitive children can get to it...I preferred a different form of ribbon, but it is a nice item perfect for a NYE or a white party...can also re-embellish with additional stones if you want for a more dramatic look...

I was very happy with this purchase. I bought it to dress up as a female Phantom of the Opera. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, I did not wear it for an extended period of time. The gems are beautiful though and have yet to fall out, even after being tossed around a bit. It ties around the head with a thin, silk ribbon and they are stitched on, so they won't easily come out. Also, I was unaware of this when I bought it, but the mask is bendable, so you can shape it to your face! Also, another cool thing about it is that where the eyelashes are, they can be bent so they stick out from the rest of the mask. VERY cool! Hopefully I'll get to really wear it next year.

This is a beautiful mask and it does have to be bent to your face shape. I am returning this because it was too large and did not fit my face shape. It is a metal type mask and when i tried to bend it to fit my face, i could feel it putting pressure above my eye brows on my sinus nodes and it made my head hurt just being against it. I do not think i could wear it all night. I have a sslighty crooked nose too so it wouldnt lay correctly. No matter how i bend it. I may not be a person than can wear a mask without looking like an idiot. I just have a not so attractive face.

It fit better than some others I tried. Having just one eye covered made it more tolerable, but I still couldn't wear it all night at my event which is why I gave it 4 stars. I also wished it had a black ribbon instead of white to better hide with my hair. I did get lots of compliments, though. I look forward to wearing it again. Also, it was a great price!

I loved that you could gently bed it to shape your face better. It was very comfortable to wear, the metal didn’t touch your face directly, there were litttle bits of hot glue to keep it from coming into contact with your skin. I did A LOT of research on masks for a masquerade ball and I would buy this again. I added some feather clusters from a craft store for a higher end look.

Pros:Great price.Looks awesome. (I was an extra in a steampunk themed ballroom scene. Got compliments all day.)Light metal conforms to face pretty well.Cons:The back of the gemstones aren't flat- there's pointy metal cones stabbing your face. I put foam stickers on them, but the few I missed left light bruises on my face.I must have low ears because it never framed my eye correctly. I was fiddling with it all day.

The mask look and colors are exactly as pictured. The only negative is that it looks like the original packaging was ripped open, so I'm guessing it was a return that was reshipped without anyone checking it, but the mask itself was fine.
