Great value
I love my camera, but it does not have a way to keep something as simple as a lens cap in place. So this lens cap came with a strap and an ability to put it on the camera as well as cleaning cloth. Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise and the product works great.

I lost a lens cap and it is fine. Functions exactly as promised. Also, inexpensive for a useful camera accessory.

Broke in under a month
I bought this product only for the lens cap “leash” because I was constantly dropping mine. It worked great for the first couple weeks and then suddenly the glue attaching the strap to the lens cap came unstuck and the plastic holding the entire thing together also came off I’m going to try and glue it all back together but overall I’m disappointed with the product.

Fits my P-1000 Nikon perfectly
I lose the lens cap frequently on trips. On a recent trip I lost it three different times. The final time I was sure it had disappeared for good. Not so. My wife found it where she had put it while using my camera. By the time she found it, I had bought these two replacements. Now, I hope that I will be able to keep at least one handy.The replacement caps fit perfectly, as you would expect for something with precise dimensions. Seems to fit better than the original cap from Nikon. One included a "leash" to keep the cap attached to the camera. In my experience, these don't work very well. It's too easy for the lens cap to pull loose from the leash at the worst possible moment. Still, I plan to try this one.These are a good value for the money and serve the purpose well.

Never lose your lens cap
The recent models of the Nikon Coolpix series come with lens caps that don't have the option to tether to the camera. (Therefore, I have had to fish the caps out of the marsh and other places.) This lens cap comes with the tether (and a bonus cleaning cloth). It is a perfect fit for the Coolpix P1000.

Keep lens clean
To keep my lens cover on then when I need to take a photo I just released lens cover and I can take a photo with out putting the lens cover in my pocket, so I don’t loose it. It help to keep lens clean also
