Too tight; not suited for cold climates
I'm 5'6" and about 120 pounds, athletic. I live in Alaska where it can get pretty freaking cold. I got these for Autumn which with global warming has become much warmer and wetter- but still kind of chilly. i wanted these as a lighter, easily removable knee warming layer. I got the black foot-less ones since they were supposed to be a bit longer.Fit: too tight, bottom leg band is strangulating.Warmth: low insulating power reduced even more by lack of blood circulation from excessive tightness. These felt soft, kind of sweaty and made my legs feel numb and tingly from cutting off blood flow. I'm only keeping these since they, like every other leg warmer, they fit my arms little better than my legs. I have like five sets of arm warmers now from trying all sorts of leg warmers. So. I'll probably give these away to someone with pencil legs and no muscles. The problem is nearly all of these kinds of clothing are made too darn freaking small. Compression is different. Proper compression supports body structures and allows the body's systems - like blood flow- to still work properly. These are not compression wear but fashion wear and I really should not be surprised at his point. So, if you got muscles and don't like your circulation being cut of, avoid. If you want yet another pair of arm warmers, these will help fill your closet. Or, you could turn them inside out so the soft side faces out ward, sew them end to end and make an interesting scarf.Update: October. i decided to keep these since it wasn't really worth it to send back. Being Alaskan and ever resourceful, I decided to modify them instead. They were too tight so I took a pair of scissors and sniped the bottom elastic band. That helped reduce the tightness and I forced my self to wear them a few days. Verdict: they still are no good as leg warmers but they work okay as arm warmers. I might cut them up some more and use them to make wrist and maybe ankle warmers to help seal in heat around joints. the rest of the material I'll use as extra padding for my winter bike helmet.

Not for the taller ladies
I am 5'7" 125lb and these are really short on me, if I dont want my ankles exposed they barely come over the knee and keep falling down just because the top is too near the knee bending area if that makes sense. I've just resorted to wearing them higher up and with long socks to cover my ankles. The material also frays really easily I can tell they not gonna last long. Other than that, they are super soft and warm. Probably wouldnt buy again tho.

Great for windy commutes. Stay up.
Best impulse buy. I got the footless ones to wear while I commute in winter because I wear skirts all the time. The inside is fuzzy as pictured, outside kinda feels like underarmer which keeps wind out fairly well. The thigh band has a stiff cord at the top which helps them stay up while walking, even over smooth tights.Sizing notes, I am 5'4" 115lbs. Because of the stiff cord this would probably feel pretty tight on thighs over ~19". The length is long on me, the top band goes fully halfway up my thigh probably 5" over my knee and I pull it down further over my foot so my heel isn't in the little hole, the fabric is not taut like this. They are pretty thick, so if you get the footed ones expect that shoes which are alread a snug fit will feel cramped (this is why I got the footless).

Snuggly and comfortable
I just received these today, and already I'm planning to order a second pair.I am 5ft. 3 or so and wear a size small; I am not bottom heavy. These cover me from my ankle up to my upper thigh (almost total leg coverage), which is what I was hoping for. And they stay up without being too constricting; the amount of pressure feel good. But the best part is how they feel in terms of texture. So soft, so cuddly! It's like they are hugging my legs with good vibes.

Cuts off circulation
Way too tight for circulation. And my legs are a little on the skinny side.

Helpful under brace
I bought these to wear under a leg brace.Pros: quality fabric, stretchy, fits well, cushiony without bulkiness, good shade of navy blue, length works for my purposesCons: fabric is made with plasticBottom line: So far, these leg warmers kept my brace from digging into my skin. I’m 5’6 size med/8 in US. A child or very slim person may not be able to wear these, but I imagine they would work for women between size 2-18. US.Edit: The second package had much narrower closures at the bottom. They would be good for a US women’s size 6 or smaller, but too tight otherwise. I’ll cut off several inches and add some elastic. One star removed.

Cozy and warm!
Loved these for my rave outfit! I was going to a rave during the winter season and was looking for something fleece lined for my legs so I could stay somewhat warm. These were awesome. They slipped down a bit but only because I danced a lot. Worth the buy! These are now a staple for my future winter events!

Super warm thigh highs for winter
These are perfect for keeping feet, legs, and knees cozy while keeping nether regions cool. Plus the look cute.Too thick and fuzzy to wear with garter clips, and they do slip down to mid-thigh so best to wear with boots. But I can wear these in sub-zero weather with a skirt and stay very warm(I do wish these had two more inches of length or little loops for attaching garter clips)
