Great lightweight shorts for gym or running
I am one of those weird guys that like a supportive inner brief. These have a pretty decent mesh underwear liner. I got these for the gym and they look and feel good. The overall fit is great for a large and a 34” waist. They have a slightly poofy look, but we’ll see how that goes after a few washings. Be aware that they literally feel like you are wearing nothing. When I ran on the treadmill for the first time I was seriously helicoptering, and the friction was a bit overstimulating for the public gym. I’d recommend using a Gold Bond friction stick down there until you get used to it. Just be aware that they are silky lightweight and can be pretty form revealing if you don’t wear your own underwear.Overall I like these but I feel Underarmoir has the best snug liner in their runners, but their price point is around $30, so this is a much more budget friendly deal.

Nice Shorts
Tried these after seeing that my tried and true UA shorts were now $45+ when they used to be less than $25. I liked them a lot but not that much! I am very happy with the Baleaf shorts. They breathe well, run true to size and are comfy to run in. Note that I haven't done a long mileage run in them so there could be issues there and I'll update this review if that's the case. My only complaint, and it's a VERY minor one, is that the 7" short seems to run a little long. I'd like to see them offer a 6". BTW - I'm 6'1" tall so I don't think it's me having short legs.

The fit is a little big - the boys are in the yard
They aren't going to fall off, but the fit is a little large. If I wear these for a long run on a hot day, I might need to wear a speedo underneath to keep the kids on the porch, but for the typical < hour workout, it'll be fine. The fabric is good - not heavy, not tissue thin; the fit is a little baggy, the pockets are all good - but I don't use the pockets during my workout.

Great kickboxing shorts!
These are exactly what I was looking for. Well made, lightweight shorts with a interior mesh liner that keeps the boys in place. I got these for kickboxing and I love that they're a bit roomier in the thighs to allow for a great range of motion.Note: if you want these for running and are expecting to fit your phone in the back pocket....the pocket runs very small and I doubt your phone would fit. These do run a tad bit big, so keep that in mind. I'm 6'5, 240lbs and got the XL where I sometimes am a XXL in other manufacturers. But in these the XL fits great.I immediately ordered 3 more pairs.Great kickboxing shorts for a bargain!

Outstanding value and a great warm-weather short!
I basically ordered these shorts on a whim; I am not a high volume runner, but I do get out 4-6 days per week, and know what I want out of a pair of shorts. I was simply browsing men's running shorts, and the Baleaf brand kept popping up, so I assume that it is an Amazon-owned brand. They look sharp and for less than $20 if figured I would take a flyer. I basically had zero expectations coming in, so I have been very happily surprised. My other running shorts are all The North Face, Under Armor, or Saucony, and are all in the $40-$50 range when I purchased them (Some have been around for a long time!).First off, these shorts look great. I got a charcoal gray color, and with the black panels and black piping they are sharp. I have gotten in several runs in them in temps in the low 80s to low 90s, and they are really thin, cool, and impressively quick drying. The liner is comfortable and does not ride up my crack like a few others I have had over the years. The pocket in back is great for a key some cash/credit card, and a gel, but I couldn't get my Galaxy S10 into it, and I doubt that it would have really been supportive enough to run with if I did manage to wedge my phone in there. As far as durability is concerned, these have been through a few run/wash/dry cycles, and I may be seeing some wear lines, but I can't tell for sure; I will definitely have to update my review later on.A couple observations: Unlike my TNF and UA shorts, the material itself is not inherently stretchy, rather Baleaf uses triangular stretchy mesh panels on the sides to give the short some flex and added breathability, and it totally works. Also, in addition to the rear zippered pocket, there are two traditionally-place hip pockets on the shorts like jeans or sweatpants might have. I am not a huge fan of these pockets as I can't really trust them with a key or money, so I would prefer that they are either left off entirely or give a zipper. One last item of personal preference: The drawstring on these shorts is internal, as are I would dare say, the majority of athletic shorts drawstrings. I would prefer an external drawstring as I have occassionally experienced some uncomfortable rubbing in sensitive areas with the drawstring tucked inside the liner.Overall opinion: Great shorts so far! These have quickly become my second favorite shorts (and favorites for a really warm day) behind some Sauconys with a slightly better pocket arrangement and a longer-legged liner which I have come to find I really like!

Great for the price
I wasn't expecting much but these shorts are actually just as good as any Adidas or Under Armours! Fits true to size, very breathable and even has a zipper pocket at the back.

Misleading picture
I selected the 01-black version of the product (the second model from the left), which shows a short cut of the shorts ending about 10-15 centrimetres above the knees.Instead, I received the long cut, which also fits more like an XL than an L, being too large on the back.
