M Is For Mayflower: A Massachusetts Alphabet (Discover America State by State)

I love this series of books!! The short text is great for my young daughter and I learn new things from the extended text in the columns. Unfortunately, M is for Mayflower is one of my least favorite books in the series. It is informational like the others but the flow of the wording is not as good as other editions.

Great book for 1 st and 2nd graders! You will have to explain some things, and help them with some words, but the overall content in a small book is well done!

excellent for little kids, big kids and adults who like to know more about their state! well written, lots of fun facts for older kids and adults, but cute little rhymes for the littlest ones. well done all around... we've purchased three different ones and have been pleased with all.

Not what I was expecting. I thought it would have been a book about the Mayflower, so bought it for my grandson as we are descendants of Pilgrims. It is in fact a book about Massachusetts...my grandson lives in Maryland.

My 5 year old grandson loves this book. These books are great for kids. The pictures keep them captivated but adults need to read them to the children which is great because it creates conversation.

I really love this series of books for children- they can learn so much about each state. They illustrations are very colorful, and the alphabet for each state reflects its history. I recommend these books!

Great book on Madsachusetts.
