Q: My twins are 11months and nearly 20lbs each. I know the carrier is made to hold children upto 35/40 lbs but is that really doable or is it too heavy?

Mine are 25 lbs each and 27 months and we still wear it. Mostly for short trips but very handy for those trips. The carrier didn't come out until my girls were already 13 month so I was on the fence but IM SO glad I have it.

Q: When worn separately (one carrier per person) how does this carrier compare to other carriers on the market (e.g., Baby Bjorn, Ergobaby)?

When the TwinGo Carrier is worn as two separate carriers, they can be worn on the adult's front or back. The wide contoured seats support each baby in an ergonomic inward-facing position to maintain healthy hip and spine positioning. The lumbar waistbands and padded shoulder straps are fully adjustable to ensure comfort for parents of various sizes. The TwinGo Carrier is made of high-quality parts and soft 100% cotton fabric. The carriers sport adjustable, removable sleep hoods to support your baby's head in an upright position while asleep, provide shade from the sun or privacy while breastfeeding. Each carrier has extra-large pockets to store diaper bag essentials or fold the entire carrier inside for compact storage.

Q: Can the baby in the front be forward facing?

No. The TwinGo is designed for inward facing positions for two reasons: 1) for optimal weight distribution around the adult, which aids in comfort for the parent during extended wearing sessions, and 2) to support healthy hip positioning for the developing baby's joints.

Q: Is it easy to put both babies at the twin carrier by oneself with no extra help?

It depends on how old your babies are. If they have good head/torso control, it's not hard. I use the "hip scoot" method, and it takes about 3 minutes to get them both in, maybe less. I tried the "superman" method, but that didn't feel very secure. You can look up videos with tutorials. My babies are now almost a year, and over 20 lbs each, so I don't use the TwinGo as much as I did, but it still comes in handy once in awhile.
