These are great to have when you are using the Gemini mini and came in excellent packaging - been using already

Not sure how to use, however I am on YouTube most of the time.

Straight out of the package, these work wonderfully. Metal dies stay in position without having to tape down which is a huge time saver when die cutting a lot of items. However, the magnetic shim starts to warp after just a few uses. The shim is still usable for a bit longer until it develops so many puckers, etc. that the dies won't lay flat on the cardstock. The magnetic shims are a great concept, just wish they didn't begin to warp so quickly.

These small magnetic pieces are very expensive. Was able to get larger pieces from a local retailer for about half the price.

These are not exactly like the one the machine came with so I gave it 3 stars. The one the machine came with was two sided with a grid printed on both side. These magnetic pads are only 1 sided and black with no grid printed on them. Might still work, I have not yet tried these since they seem different the one the machine came with so I am holding out still... Heads up!

The only thing I didn’t like was that the dies dented the mat on the first pass.
